Description of the Lake Anna vacation home rental

Cedar Sided "A" Frame House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1.5 Baths (Sleeps 5-8)

We are a family community and restrict our rentals to families and those over 24 years old. Proof of age is required for rental.
Rustic 2 Level Cedar sided A Frame on the public side on wooded 1 acre lot with deck and 20+ foot vaulted ceiling. Sleeps up to 6-8 comfortably 3 bedrooms with 1 1/2 baths. Renters responsible for bringing sheets and towels. Master Bedroom Queen Size Bed, BR1 bunk bed with chiropractic twin mattresses, BR2 Full size bed, Queen Sleeper Sofa in living Room. Microwave, Dishwasher, Washer and Dryer, Nicely manicured community beach with kids swimming and play area. 4 ceiling fans one in each bedroom, and common area. Lake is less than 200 ft from the back of the property. Backyard has direct access to 1 of 2 boat launches and newly built community fishing platform with railings for kids safety. Boat parking area in front yard. Dock available for free of charge. 36" Color TV, DVR Satellite TV with Movie Channels, DVD, VCR with small video library, Stereo, Local Calling and Answering Machine. Oval dining room table seats 6 adults comfortably. Backyard equipped with Weber Charcoal Grill, Picnic Table, 4 Resin Adirondack Chairs and Large Fire Pit. Located in the Gated Community of Blue Water just off route 522/Zachary Taylor Highway Dickensons Store is just up the road as well as the community re-cycling and trash center. $75 cleaning fee in addition to rental price. Check In is 3PM and Check Out is 11AM. Please feel free to inquire on earlier check in or later check out. Please look at availability calendar and fill out rental request prior to calling. Please allow 48 hours for an email response.

Enjoy boating, sailing, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing on the lake. Catch one of the bi-weekly fishing tournaments. The Lake Anna state park offers historical and nature programs, as well as trails for hiking and a beach for swimming. Golf, horseback riding, horse shows, living history re-enactments, winery tours and local festivals are available in the area throughout the year.

Lake Anna is within an hour from museums,historical towns and battlefields, outlet shopping and antiques, parks and trails for hiking, dining out, sports, shows, amusement parks. Washington, D.C., Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Charlottesville, Virginia, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Paramount Kings Dominion are just a few of the great places you can visit while staying at Lake Anna.

• Other Fees: We will consider a dog (Sorry Dogs Only) for additional rental and deposit. Minimum pet deposit will be $50 and minimum pet rent $100 per week. Weekend pet deposit is $25 and rent $50. Current flea & tick treatment mandatory.

My husband and I didn't want to leave. It was a very nice place. Everthing you need is there. The lake is beautiful. We even went to the State Park which is just about 15 minutes away. While in the state park we saw many deer and some wild turkeys. Over all it was a peaceful and relaxing trip. We will be planning a trip for next year. We loved the house. Thank You!!!!

We wanted to get away from the city for the weekend and we did just that. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The people in the area were extreamly friendly. The house is very kept up and clean they way I like it. Our little JRT puppy had a blast and didn't want to leave haha! I will definetly rent again.

The house was very nice and was very comfortable for the 3 of us. Unable to see the water though which was main reason we wanted to rent the house. We did get rain every day we were there so we were inside most of the time anyway. Plenty of emenities to keep you busy inside though. All in all it was a nice visit.

For Spring Break we spent the week at a Beautiful Lake Anna Retreat! It really was a treat for our family of 4. This beautiful home was a short walk to the Lake for boating/fishing. Great for campfires! Also a short drive to other towns! A wonderful experience and great getaway!
