Description of the Lake Ariel vacation home rental

Welcome to the Boathouse. This is a four bedroom, two and one half bathroom house located in Lake Ariel, PA. This home is in a Gold Star Resort Community in the Poconos called The Hideout. The Hideout offers three lakes two pools, and a nine hole golf course. Also, it has a Ski mountain with two chair lifts and snow tubing right in the community. It is about a one minute drive from the house.

This house is walking distance to the main lodge, main pool, including kiddie pool, main beach, tennis courts, and the main clubhouse, which has a tiki bar, and great Sunday brunch during the summer months.

Did I mention this house is on the the largest lake in the Hideout called Roamingwood Lake. We have a row boat, peddleboat/paddleboat, and a canoe all for you to use.

We also have a large gameroom with a pool table in the house. We have four full size arcade games. One sit down driving game, and three multi-arcade games that have about eighty different games to choose from. Also a jukebox, all of which are on freeplay for you to use.

Our bedrooms each have TV's with cable TV. Also, the house has WiFi high speed internet for you to use.

No Pets! No Smoking! We do not rent to groups younger than 27yrs of age. No Prom, or Graduation Groups.

Beautiful Lake View Property

This 4 bdrm property sits high above the lake with a wrap around deck that offers beautiful views of the lake. Upon entering the home you notice the rounded structure with windows all the way around to offer great views from inside as well. The open floor plan living area, dining area, and kitchien all offer the beautiful views of the lake. The owners touched off this family area with a real nice modern gas fire place with a nice size mantle that held a 50i nch flat screen with a nice picture. Across from the kitchen in the hall way is a full bath and then there are two bedrooms with the main bedroom having a half bath in it. However, upon driving through the development you quickly realize that Lake Ariel is huge and there are an abundant of homes that sit on the lake with great views. This leads us to the LOWER LEVEL OF THE BOATHOUSE WHICH IS THE ONE MOST DISTINCT FEATURE OF THIS HOME: The lower level is any family's vacation dream with the room centered around the pool table and a large flat screen TV. To add to this room is 4 more video games one of which offers an unlimited number of different games to play. Then there is a descent size cutout within the room that has 2 couches that can also pull out into queen sleepers that face another large screen TV. To top off the room there is a large juke box that offers a great selection of music. In the back of the lower level is two bedrooms. This lower level makes this home more desirable than any other home in the development. For those of you who may have young children, it should be reassuring to know the development is gated with 24 hour security.
