Description of the Lake Arrowhead vacation cottage rental
Completely renovated 1923 cottage at the end of Lakeview Lane. Romantic and cozy, this is the perfect cottage for the honeymoon couple or for those wishing to rekindle the romance. Relax in the outdoor hot tub or barbeque on the adjacent deck. The original stone fireplace anchors the vaulted living area. Country kitchen with restored O'Keefe and Merrit range and dining room are opposite. Off the dining room is a charming alcove that is perfect for your morning cup of coffee as you watch the morning sun bathe the forest in the days first light. Downstairs is a family room/bedroom with a stack washer dryer. A queen size bed is located in the vaulted loft above the living room and around the corner are two more single beds divided by a door that opens to a small deck above the alcove/dining area below with a view of Lake Arrowhead in the distance. Quaint single bath with shower is off the kitchen. Located on a quiet cul de sac street that backs up to a national forest and yet is a short walk to fine dining at the historic 100 year old log restaurant and bar The Antler Inn. Also next door to the restaurant is a country store with all the necessities.

We spent a long weekend at this incredibly beautiful mountain retreat. The cabin is decorated with so many thoughtful touches and stocked so you feel right at home. It is central to so many great places- we HIGHLY recommend the property. The owners are helpful, kind and timely in their correspondence. I loved this place and cant wait to return.

This is an absolutely charming, comfortable, well built home. We admired the craftsmanship of this wonderful cabin. The location is great, the decor is charming without being overdone. We did not want to leave and hope to go back as soon as possible and as often as possible. This is a great place for a romantic couple or a family. It was very relaxing and peaceful.
