Description of the Lake City vacation home rental

This home is situated on a large corner lot surrounded by trees and amazing views. Two bedrooms downstairs (1 king, 1 full) and a full bathroom and front sitting room that has a day bed. Upstairs has a large living area, kitchen and two balconies and a full bath and a 3rd level with a loft bedroom with a full size bed. The yard has a charcoal cooker and plenty of shade and privacy.

Area Description

Located just 50 miles south of Gunnison, /Colorado Lake City is nestled in a small valley. There are no traffic jams, traffic lites or crime when you come here. Quiet peaceful town surrounded by mountains and trails and home of the 2nd largest natural lake in Colorado. The home has fishing access just across the road to the lake fork of the Gunnison river. Miles and Miles of atv roads and 4wheeling access and 6 of colorados 14teeners here.

We really loved the great openeness of the home. So many windows to bring in the outdoors. We liked the fact that it was not right in the middle of town yet we could walk or bike to activities. My son and his Father loved being able to walk across the street to go flyfishing and come back and fry them up for dinner. We were greeted by a mother deer and her twin babies everyday eating the wildflowers in the yard.
