They are near(about 10 miles) the towns of Mount Vernon, Winnsboro, just about 20 minutes past Sulphur Springs off I30.
The houses have a great decks with each having 2 sets of tables and chairs for relaxing under the trees.
There is a boat dock to which you can tie up at the side and a wonderful sun deck above for #12 which is LIGHTED all nite long AND #11 has its own boat slip at the common boat dock which is LIGHTED all nite is yours to use for your boat, jet ski whatever you want to put inside the boat slip.
They both have a charcoal BBQ grills.
You will love the shaded surroundings of the area which has about 6 acres of common ground to walk and enjoy nature.
The houses are fully furnished (with the exception of sheets, towels, soaps, trash bags, etc.(BUT blankets and pillows are there). The kitchens have dishes cups, glasses, silverware etc.for 8 people and small appliances.
There is a LIMIT of 8 people AT ANY TIME IN THE HOUSE. NO VISITORS coming down for an HOUR or a DAY!
NO ANIMALS ALLOWED PER THE HOMEOWNERS ASSOC.

Lake Cypress Springs was voted "Most Beautiful Lake in Texas" by Big D Magazine for several years.
The 115 Hiway leads to Winnsboro to the left and Mount Vernon to the right. Winnsboro has antique shops, steak house, new bar-b-q house, bands on the weekends etc. Mount Vernon has antique shops, museums etc.

We had a great weekend at the lake house. It was just steps from the lake and the house had everything we could ask for. I would definitely come back for another stay.

It Was A Great Get-a-way For Our Family. We Were There During The Week So The Lake Was Not Too Busy. Golfing Was Close Which Was Nice. The Place Was Easy To Find & Very Comforable. Our Family Had A Really Great Time Being Together.

We stayed in #11 and #12 for a family vacation. They are great cabins on the lake. We had a great time and it was very relaxing. We can't wait till we come back.

We attended my neice's wedding in Mt. Pleasant. We had stayed at the same cabin last year for a family reunion and decided it would be another enjoyable weekend to stay there again. Myself, my wife, daughter and her boyfriend along with our 7 year old grand daughter arrived Friday and left on Sunday. My grand daughter and I enjoyed the fishing, as usual. She caught her first catfish (about a one-pounder). She was very excited. She caught a bass, as well as some perch. I caught a couple of crappie. We had a great time. The weather turned bad on Saturday evening, cutting short the fishing and they just stopped biting after that. But we made more memories that weekend and Caitlin was able to go back to school and brag to her fellow first graders that she was the number one fishergirl ever!!
