Lake front home on beautiful Lake George, jewel of the NY State Adirondack Park. This secluded cottage was once the private studio of Madame Homer, world famous MET opera singer, who sang with Caruso in the 1920's. A Winslow Homer print and several old photos adorn the original plank walls.
Now used as a family retreat with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The screened front porch literally hangs over the waters edge and leads to slate patio with outdoor seating. Take two steps down to the large double pier dock with lots more seating for soaking up the sun or taking a dip in the pristine waters of the lake.

Area Description

Town of Bolton Landing offers large grocery store and several boutiques. Fine dining at many of the great restaurants that surround the Lake. The Sagamore Resort in Bolton has an award winning golf course and Spa. Just a short drive down the Northway is the Saratoga Race Course. One of the oldest and most charming courses in the country. This years meet begins July 23rd. Many marinas offer boat, jet ski rentals and para-sailing.In Lake George village is the Great Escape and Water Park, part of the Six Flags group, waiting for those looking for a day of adventure and fun. Many tail heads are nearby for great hiking in the mountains around the lake. Both the novice and the expert will find trails to their liking.
