Description of the Lake George vacation home rental

One nice big house, on one lakeside acre, for one group at a time. A history of good times. Spacious, well-kept property on the west shore of Lake George.
Open all year since 1997.

Off-season rates proportionate to groups of 4 to 12.
House has five bedrooms, including a master bedroom to die for, four full baths. Large living area and table for 12 for getting together; distant sleeping for getting away. Our kitchen receives a thumbs-up for the best cooks. Wireless Internet.
Hardwood floors, knotty-pine walls. Garage for two cars. Playhouse. Natural land features of native trees, exposed bedrock. Boathouse with dock and deck, campfire. Excellent swimming at depths from 1.5 to 8 feet. Rowboat on site; boat rental one mile south.
Pets welcomed. Generator on site.
Ten minutes to Lake George Village and Bolton Landing. Forty minutes to skiing at Gore Mountain and West Mountain. A beautiful place on earth. Rates don't fit easily onto the rates section of this site. Our primary site has them. Ask for it. Some of the basic ones are these:
June 6 - 12, $2,800
June 12 - 19, $3,000
June 19 - 26, $3,900
June 26 - July 3, $4,800
July 3 - Sept. 4, $5,400/week for up to ten people
Sept. 4 - 11, $3,200
Sept. 11 - 25, $2,400/week
Sept. 25 - Oct. 2, $2,100
Oct. - May nonholiday weekend would be $650 for 2 - 4 people; $850 for 5 - 6 people; $1,000 for 8 - 9 people, $1,150 for 10 people. Add 7% sales tax for a stay of less than four nights.
Full nonholiday weeks Oct. - May would be $1,250, $1,450, $1,700, and $1,900 for those same groups.
A pet is $50 for a weekend or $95 for a week.

Museums: In Glens Falls, the Hyde Collection for fine art and the Chapman for local history. Both open year round. In Blue Mountain Lake (an hour’s drive), the Adirondack Museum offers extensive exhibits on Adirondack history. An all-day excursion. Open late May to mid-October.

Dinner theatre: The Lake George Dinner Theatre in Lake George Village. Equity actors playing six days a week from mid-June to mid-October.

Ballet and concerts: Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) with performances in the summer by the New York City Ballet, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and rock and jazz groups (40-minute drive).

Thoroughbred and harness racing: The Saratoga Race Track, a world-class flat track, is open from late July through Labor Day. The harness-racing track is open February through November. Both are in Saratoga Springs (40-minute drive).

Upyonda Farm Outdoor education center for kids, 5 miles north.

The home was impeccably clean when we arrived. The location of the house is very private with the deck away from the house. It was a little hike to the lake but the privacy was well worth it. The bedrooms were private and the number of baths worked well. The living space would've been small for our party of 6 adults and one toddler if we had had bad weather but fortunately it was beautiful therefore we were able to use the screened in porch as additional space. All in all a wonderful experience. We enjoyed Lake George and the other coummnities surrounding it. Thank you.
