Description of the Lake Harmony vacation chalet rental
The Elk House is situated in the lovely private community of Lake Harmony Estates, Pennsylvania. The Elk House is a 3 story, 3100 square foot house that has 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths. This great mountain home has tongue and groove wood throughout the house as well as wood trim and hardwood and ceramic floors. The house is situated in the woods with a winter nighttime view of Big Boulder Ski Slopes.
We have a large Great room that has a cathedral ceiling, a 63" Big Screen TV with DVD and a stone gas fireplace. The modern kitchen is perfect for cooking for large groups. It has a side-by-side refrigerator, a ceramic cook top, an island in the center and a breakfast bar. It also comes with a build in oven & microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basic cookware. Off of the kitchen is our dining room area that seats up to 10 in addition to the 3-person breakfast bar. In addition there is another family room with a ' kitchen & a 27" TV equipped with a DVD. Our 24 x 17 foot game room holds our pool table and a professional foosball. The house has Cable with 8 HBO channels on the 63" TV. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer for your convenience. To top if all off, a relaxing hot tub, which is professionally drained and cleaned between tenants, awaits you on the porch.
The home is less than 5 minutes to Big Boulder Ski Resort and 10 minutes to Jack Frost Ski Area. Lake Harmony is a private powerboat lake that permits fishing and boating. They have a private sand beach with a lifeguard. The home is very close to numerous summer and winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, horseback riding, paintball, hiking, white water rafting, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, shopping, and golf. Lake Harmony is located 90 miles from NYC & Philadelphia.
