I have been renting homes in the Pocono's for the past 20+ years with friends and family. This is my 3rd time at this house ~ its clean, spaced nicely, noise doesn't seem to travel when down stairs and the kids are asleep up stairs. Great location too! I would recommend this home.

This place was great. My friends and I went to celebration my birthday in March; it was a total of 10 people. We all had enough rooms (with 2 extra bedrooms); the house was remarkable and comfortable. We didn't have to leave the house to go anyway; we brought our own food and drinks. We even bbq outside on the deck. Definitely a must see, visit and a definite must stay. The price was right for sure and it was all worth it

A bit run down, bit loads of space

Stayed over New Year with a group of 17 people. The house is huge and has so much space-there was plenty of room for everyone. The decor was a bit dated and it is a bit moldy/mildewy, but in general a nice space for a large group. The area is beautiful as well. Would have been nice to have some sort of guide to where grocery stores and the like are since you have to bring everything with you, so look all of that up in advance. Also-not much in the way of cleaning supplies, even though you are expected to clean before you leave.

We rented the cabin for a couple of days and it was amazing. The house is located close to many of the attractions listed and very easy to find. From the outside it may not look well kept but the inside is a different story. The cabin is well divided, huge living room/kitchen area. All 7 Bedroom are huge especially the large room which has 3 twins and a 1 full in it. The lower floor or game room area has a pool table, dart games (bring your own darts) and a little bar, plus more great size rooms. Maybe the only thing I would recommend to bring is clean linens, towels and blankets because we found old musty ones that had to be washed again.. If you want music, all they have is a small boom box radio. For the men who want their TV, only 2.. Both are the boxed tv’s 32 inch.

We were so pleased with out stay at this chalet. The facility was perfect for our family of 14. Everyone had their own space, and yet, there was plenty of room for us to do things together. We loved the surrounding woods and the deer that visited us daily. The nature walks and the beach were wonderful. We were concerned about there not be any air conditioning, but we were always comfortable. I would revisit this location and recommend it to anyone. It was lovely.

It was vacation and it was indeed delightful. A family reunion at a home away from home. The two days and nights we spent at the Four Star Vacation home was a wonderful experience in all respects. The house was nest and clean when handed over to us and we did our part to reciprocate. With careful execution of the contract and the contractual terms, all transactions including receiving the keys upon arrival and returning them before departure was made easy, simple and convenient, all without any direct human intervention. The house does not have an AC. But, did we miss it? No, not the least! The patio is a great place to sit, chat, eat and relax. Practically all that we do on a vacation! All amenities and facilities are provided in the property which made our stay comfortable. The upkeep of the front of the house and the yard have some scope of improvement. The aesthetics could be provided a face lift by maintaining the yard, cutting the weeds, etc. Overall the experience was great! Will love to visit again, and again and again! My compliments to the management for creating this wonderful facility.

Great stay but house needs some improvements

We had a wonderful 3-day stay despite some of the unsafe disrepairs. Some of the disrepairs included a broken fireplace flue (which led to smoke filling the lower level), broken beds (some of which we were able to repair), and exposed electrical wires. These items were discussed with owners and are being addressed. Other than that and a few inconveniences (i.e., dart board and pool sticks being broekn) we feel we got what we paid for.

Cozy but Spacious

My family and I spent our xmas at this chalet and we had the time of our lifes. We were 13 people (at one point 15) and one of the highlights of the house is that there is enough space for everyone; even when we were all in the same room it did not feel crowded. There are lots of winter activities like a sledding hill which charges you $5 with sled included; an amazing water park good for all ages, and the skiing Montains (Black Bear) about 10 blocks away. I recommend this place for a good family gathering.

The scenary was very enjoyable, as well as the house being very spacious and clean. The location was very helpful, being near the lake as well as other fun-filled activities. It was very nice to have a deck so that we could enjoy the cool breeze as well as have dinner outside. We also enjoyed the activites available inside the house.

Best Poconos Stay!

This was such a great,cozy home. Plently of room for our friends. Location was great, the house is 1 min away from Big Boulder and Split Rock Resort. We loved the fire pit and the pool table. So much for a very reasonable price. Kathy was very nice and super accommodating. I would definitely recommend this house. It was perfect, and we will probably rent again next month!

My Family And I Rented This Property For A Few Days In August And We Had A Blast. Kathy And Lisa Were Very Accomodating And Helpful. The House Was Just The Right Size For A Large Family Like Ours. The Pool Table And Board Games Kept The Kids Busy While We Adults Enjoyed Card Games On The Spacious Deck. The Beach Is A Stone's Throw Away And The Galleria's Arcade And Movie Theater Were A Plus. We Look Forward To Returning!!
