Description of the Lake Harmony vacation townhouse rental

Charming 3 bedroom 2 bath townhouse with fireplace, A/C & Wifi, has partial lake view from the master bedrooms. Located right on Big Boulder Lake in the Blue Heron section. Big Boulder Lake is only 200 feet from your front door. Free membership in the Mountain Lake Club which allows you to use all the amenities on Big Boulder Lake. Boat rentals! 2 pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, horseshoes, and private beach. Even a play island with bouncy toys and slides in the middle of the lake! Boulder View Tavern right on premises with gorgeous views of the lake and mountains. Great food. Entertainment on weekends. And a great brunch on Sundays. Townhouse features you own private deck and balcony to take in the country setting. Cathedral ceilings, fireplace, sleeper sofa. Queen beds and cable tv`s in each master bedroom and 2 twin beds in the oversized sleeping loft. Even a tv in the loft for playing your video games. New Flat Screen TV in living room. Fully equipped kitchen with all cooking utensils. Dining area with large table and bar with seating for 8-10 people. Kitchen has large refrigerator, dishwasher, range, oven, microwave, coffee maker, new blender/food processor, mixer, new toaster-oven/toaster, lots of pots & pans, cutlery, dishes, etc. Washer and dryer. 2 full baths, one with double sinks and tub. The other has a Japanese Soaking Tub & shower! Beautifully furnished and decorated. Wifi, DVD player. Less than a mile to Split Rock Resort filled with every amenity you could imagine. Movie theater, indoor water park, bowling, restaurants, night clubs and more. Two great Outlet shopping malls and casinos a short drive away as well. Historic town of Jim Thorpe right down the road, as well as white water rafting and paintball! Minutes to Hickory Run State park with it`s pre-historic Boulder Field, Swimming/ Fishing Lake and Beach. House is fully furnished and equipped with everything but towels, soap, and sheets (we find that most people prefer to bring these items from home). Starter paper products are provided. Area Information

Lake Harmony is a great resort area. Big Boulder itself has a large lake for boating and fishing, its own beach, heated pool, tennis courts, playground, and the Boulder View Tavern and restaurant all within a short walk from your townhome. Don't miss 35 cent wings on Mondays! Many restaurants and nightclubs with 1 mile. Skiing is a 2 minute ride up the hill. And Jack Frost is just 10 minutes away. Ski both mountains for 1 low price. Split Rock resort is 2 miles away, featuring every amenity you could imagine. Indoor Water Park, bowling alley, movie theater, restaurants, entertainment, ice cream parlor, miniature gold, boating, fishing, 27 holes of spectacular golf and more. Casinos and outlet shopping are just a short ride. Historic town of Jim Thorpe nearby as well as white water rafting and paintball!

Great restaurants nearby: Piggy's for great breakfasts. Boulder VIew Tavern has great wings and Champagne Brunch on Sundays, as well as entertainment on the weekends. Shenanigans has good food, drink, and entertainment. Louie's Prime Steakhouse has the best filet mignon I have ever tasted! Nick's Lake House right on neighboring Lake Harmony has good food, a great outside deck, great views of the lake, and entertainment. Bel'Lago, also has nice views of Lake Harmony and good Italian food.

The home was very nice, comfortable and amenities were as advertised. Less than a mile from Big Boulder Ski area and within walking distance to the Boulder View Tavern. Would definitely rent this property again.

Great Vacation Resort

What a pleasure to stay here. Everything you needed to feel right at home. This property was well furnished, warm and comfortable. There was a tv in every major room. The area is close to a casino and a large outlet and Shenanigans is right up the road. Everyone, including the neighbors in the development were so friendly. Very Enjoyable Visit

The owners prepared this rental to be a home away from home and that is the impression you get upon arrival. It is well stocked, nicely decorated in Poconos fashion and minutes from Big Boulder ski resort, restaurants, etc. Best of all, Tom was a pleasure to work with, he promptly responded to all emails and credited our deposit within days. I would stay here again.

This is a well appointed and well cared for property. The owners only recently acquired it and seem very interested in having it be a well-received, successful rental. It is a great location, near everything and we really enjoyed our weekend there. We plan to visit again.

Relaxing

The home was beautiful and was only a couple of minutes away from Big Boulder skiing. We went snow tubing the entire weekend. After 3 hours of tubing it was great to only drive a few minutes and be back at the house relaxing. The owner answered all of our questions and the rental process went smoothly. We recieved our security deposit in only a few days. We will definitely be coming back again.
