Description of the Lake Lanier vacation home rental

This is a wonderful lake house with beautiful wide water views. It is just a stone's throw from the water's edge with a covered double slip boat dock (drought proof.)

The house has a open floor plan with lake views from just about every room. On the main floor is the spacious kitchen with breakfast counter, separate dining area, an office w/ internet, master bedroom w/ lg. walk-in closet and separate dressing & sitting room, full master bathroom w/ shower & jetted bathtub, livingroom w/ gas/wood fireplace and adjacent sunroom. The upper large outside deck has a gas bbq grill, dining table and lounge chairs to enjoy the wonderful outdoors atmosphere amongst the towering pines and the beautiful lake view.

The lower level has two bedrooms and a full bath. There is a large flagstone patio off the lower level w/ lounge chairs, a hanging hamock and the same awesome lake view.

Located waterside is another decked patio. This area is great for sunbathing and relaxing by the water or spending time with family & friends around an evening fire.

Area Information

The city of Cumming is a great area on the lake to vacation at because of the close and central proximity to the city
of Atlanta and the Blue Ridge Mountains. The house is a convenient 5 minutes from GA-400 and only 3 minutes to
many wonderful restaurants and great shopping. Located at the end of a very peaceful street, where you feel as though you are a million miles away from it all.

WOW What a Deal!

Your home is BEAUTIFUL both indoors and out. It is a perfect location, beautiful Lakefront views and I wish we could have stayed forever. The inside was extremely comfortable with plenty of room for all of us to gather or plenty of quiet space to read a book. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The setting is phenomenal. It is the perfect retreat for a romantic weekend, a family or business retreat and is well maintained! There is truly nothing lacking...the spacious kitchen is amazingly well-stocked. The 2 decks are extremely comfortable and we enjoyed our coffee there every morning listening to all of the birds and returned to the same spot after boating all day. My husband loved the fact that we could dock the boat at the house. It made it so easy to just hop on the boat and go catch fish for dinner. The kid’s were thrilled that they could just go down stairs and jump in the lake for a swim. I was amazed at how close we were to any shopping needed but yet felt so far away in the peaceful quiet setting. And for the nights that we didn’t want to cook, we found several great restaurants. Next year we hope to be able to spend 3 weeks instead of 2 weeks. The owners are very involved and eager that your experience there be top notch. They are very pleasant to work with.

Fabulous view and location!

We enjoyed your house for 7 months and loved every minute of it. Having our boat at the dock and exploring Lake Lanier, fishing and just taking in the beautiful views from the house were awesome. The location was unbeatable, just minutes from shopping but while at the house, you felt you were miles away from everything. We would recommend this house to anyone who wants a great lake experience. Thanks so much!
