Description of the Lake Lure vacation home rental

Situated just off the shoreline of serene Bald Mountain Lake is the lovely “Cottage Walk on Bald Mountain Lake”. This charming and spacious cottage is adjacent to the larger “Bald Mountain Lake Lodge”, and is a perfect companion when two homes are necessary for much larger groups. It’s located in the Rumbling Bald Resort and has full use of resort amenities. “Cottage Walk…” is a 3 bedroom, 2-½-bath cottage with a small screen porch, a spacious covered deck overlooking the lake, and a gracious family room. The Master Bedroom is located on the main level and accommodates a King Bed, private bath with double vanity and a large double shower. The ample kitchen is fully equipped and the dining table sits in a bay window offering pretty views of the lake. The living area is sunken and offers a beautiful old stone fireplace as its centerpiece. The sofa converts to a bed for additional sleeping. Just off the kitchen is a half bath, and a laundry room. From the living room, steps lead to the lower level family room which features ample seating to view the TV, as well as a game table. The large section converts to sleeping. One full bath with a tub/shower combination is located just off the family room as are the two guest bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed; the other has a set of twins. Just off this lower level is a concrete patio and screen porch. Just a few steps from the patio is an outdoor picnic table and onto the lakefront, which features a large dock for sunning, swimming or fishing. There is a canoe for your use on the lake. A small outdoor fire pit tops off this pretty location. Don’t forget that all the amenities of the resort are available for your use, which includes pools, private beach on Lake Lure, tennis, golf and many other recreation amenities. “Cottage Walk” is about a 5-minute drive from the private amenities at the resort. **June through August-Home is available only for weekly rentals**

Area Description

Lake Lure is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains within a 45 minute drive from Charlotte, Asheville and Hendersonville, NC and also 45 minutes from Spartanburg, SC

All of the homes offered by Lake Country Vacation Rentals are very convenient to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock State Park.

This particular home is in the Rumbling bald resort community where guests have access to all of the resort amenities including two outdoor pools, lazy river, tennis courts, mini golf, two golf courses, exercise room, arcade room, an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. As well as a lovely beach area on Lake Lure and 3 restaurants.

If you decide to leave the resort for a day, you can spend time exploring Chimney Rock State Park, horseback riding, mountain biking, and hiking. You can also take a short drive to Asheville to visit the Biltmore House which is especially wonderful to visit around the holidays.
