This lakefront home on level land with a few stone steps down to a private beach with a small creek is a rare amenity in the mountains.

This family and child friendly home has two levels. The downstairs area has living/dining space with ample room. The fully equipped kitchen is beside a seating area where the fireplace is located, also with a table for children. There is another table nearby for extra dining or games. There is one bath and one bedroom downstairs.

Up one flight of stairs is the laundry room with an extra refrigerator and the back door. Up the other flight of stairs is the top floor with a bathroom w/tub. There are three bedrooms with a king size and trundle bed in the largest room, and a queen and double bed in the other two. There is a portable crib and various baby items. A linen closet on this floor has linens for all beds and the two sleeper sofas downstairs.

This home is in the back of a cove with four acres of woods surrounding it. The cove is a no wake zone so there is plenty of room for swimming. Having a beach provides a shallow place for young children to play in the sand and water. There is a canoe and row boat for you to enjoy.

Chimney Rock Park is a short distance from the house where the view is spectacular and the hiking is great. The Biltmore House in Asheville is well worth a day trip. In the fall the leaves are beautiful in the mountains. Also picking apples in orchards nearby is fun.
