Description of the Lake Norman vacation home rental

Fully furnished kitchen(Cooking Utensils Provided, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave), central heat and air, washer and dryer, linens provided, surround stereo system, two stone wood burning fire places, Sun room/screened in porch with gas logs, gas grill, covered dock and large swimming area (bring your canoe or kayak), 1/2 mile from a marina, lower level bar, air hockey table, porte- cochere, circle drive way, water toys( floats, rafts, life jackets, life belts and fishing poles), board games and cards, DVD player, cul-de-sac location, hardwood floors, extensive glass and exposed timber construction. King master bedroom full bath, Second bedroom with a double bed and full bath, third bed room with a queen bed, fourth bed room with a double bed and a sleeper sofa, upstairs living room cozy couch and the lower level living room with 2 cozy couches and a full bath.

Duke Power State Park( right down the road) has hiking and bike trails, picnic areas, camping and swimming areas.

Queen's Landing a local marina has many enjoyable activities, such as dinner cruises on the Catawba Queen, tennis courts, Putt-Putt courses, bumper boats, outdoor live entertainment(music), floating bar, Piano bar and Sandwich shop.

Lake Norman is a 30 Mile long (largest lake in North Carolina) manmade lake with 11 restaurants and bars that over look the beautiful water and are accessible by boat. All of the activities that say onsite means that as long as you bring the equipment(canoe, kayak, skis, boat etc) you can walk out of the back door of the house and enjoy your hobbies.

• Required Stay: Sunday to Sunday from may to October
   
• Deposits: $350 Security deposit( fully refundable if no damage). $150 cleaning fee. Reserve with 50% deposit plus security deposit, balance due two weeks prior to arrival.
   
• Other Fees: Cancellations 90 days or more prior to arrival date for a full refund. If you have to cancel with less than a 90 day notice and the property is subsequently rented to another group for the same time period the deposit will be fully refunded. Checks, cash or money order only.

This home was everything we had hoped for and more for a long weekend stay with our family. Our group of 8 was easily accomodated, the house is spacious and well equipped. I would definitely return!

We had a great time at this house on Lake Gaston. The owners were attentive to our needs. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need. Spent most of our time on the wonderful boat dock, caught lots of fish! This house isn't fancy, but it has everything you will need for a great lake vacation, the aforementioned boat house, screened porch, grill and it is very clean. Thanks to the Boltons for having their lake house available!
