The hot tub was non-functioning and filled with bugs. There was a fish tank filled with fungus and had a cockroach floating in the disgusting murky water. To date, the renter has held our security deposit and refused to contact us. Will be seeking legal recompense.

The house was roomy and in a convenient location. It accomodated our 17 family members well. We had a beautiful view of the lake and enjoyed playing in the water from morning till evening. The boat dock worked great for our rented pontoon from Aquaventure. We highly recommend Aquaventure which was about a 15 minute drve and 20 minutes by canoe. The futon's were uncomfortable for our college age children, but livable. We had a wonderful week and plan to go back to Lake Norman. The owners of the home were great people and very accommodating. Our experience was a pleasure and we had an enjoyable stay.

The overall condition of the property was very bad. House in desperate need of deep cleaning. Spiders were nesting in the ceilings. Due to the gross neglect of the grounds the windows were covered in webs so bad we were not able to open any window. Could not turn on ceiling fans due to the inches of dust on blades. The gas grill was so dirty and rusted had to purchase a grill. Garbage pick up is on Thursday receptaicals were full upon Sunday check in, we had to put our garbage on the deck by Thursday we had accumelated enough trash to fill. Golf cart and canoe were included in rental rate, golf cart was delivered late Wed. evening canoe was busted. Talked to the renal agent via phone upon check in no one ever checked my ID, talked to the agent Monday to inform her of the problems, Tuesday I was informed by rep. for the agent that the rental agent had gone to South America this was the last correspodance I had as I called the one and only number I had for the property manager uon departing and the mail box was full. So I deeply appreciate your follow up. If I had not been able to rent a boat that enabled us to stay on the lake most of the day I would have cancelled the second day of the seven night stay. The house was a show place in its day I'm sure, very spacious which makes it such a shame to see how this 17 year old property has become so run down due to neglect.

We had a mini family reunion for my niece Carly's baby shower. We really enjoyed the house and the beds were very luxurious.

What a beautiful place to spend the holidays! Our family of 18 had a wonderful time together at Seven Springs. The owner was so hospitable and welcoming, even going so far as to put up an 11 foot decorated Christmas tree, so that when we arrived on Dec. 24, all we had to do was arrange the presents under it and wait for everyone to arrive and celebrate. It was chilly outside, so we kept a fire going in the two beautiful fireplaces. The home was beautifully decorated, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The bedrooms were all very spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The 8 children, ages 2 to 15 really enjoyed the family room downstairs with its big TV, and pool table. There was plenty of parking space for our 5 automobiles , and we enjoyed our walks in the snowy woods--yes, the owner even managed to send a big snow on Christmas day, which was lovely, and the kids were able to play outside, go sledding, and also build a snowman during our 4 day stay! I would imagine this would be a great place to stay in any season. We would certainly recommend this lovely home as a rental for a family gathering spot. The Walters Family

Beautiful house! This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a place that is quiet, and peaceful. The house had everything we needed and very clean! Except for a few things that didn't work very well, I would still highly recommend staying at this home.
