Everything was neat, clean, organized.
Loved the hot tub and fireplaces.
Well equipped kitchen, multiple refrigerators, bar.
We are definitely coming back!

A wonderful family vacation with many unforgettable memories at this great vacation house on lake norman. Enough room for 17 adults ages 24-80! This place is even better than the pictures! Great views from the deck! Loved the hot tub and firepit! We especially enjoyed the use of the 3 kayaks provided for our use by the owner, Mike. Had great weather (60's). Mike was very helpful from the time i first inquired about the home. I would definitely come back to this home! We got our exercise walking down the steps to the dock but it was worth it! Would like to rent it in the summer sometime so we can use the slide! Thanks again Mike! P.S. The 2 indoor fireplaces were great too!

This is a perfect getaway. The house is very clean and well kept. Plenty of beds for larger groups. The dock is great and if you have time get the hammock chairs out. You will love it. The Kayaks were fun. Unfortunately we did not have time to enjoy the fire pit. We would definitely rent this house again. Mike, the owner, is great to work with.

When we pulled up to the property, it looked like a quaint little cottage, opened the door and the house just exploded into a wonderful get away location. Everything was great, beds, hot tub, fire pit, lake. We were amazed to be swimming in a lake in October! The steps to the lake were alittle much, but worth it. The dock is amazing, if you rent this property, be sure and take the hammock chairs to the dock, so worth it! Very clean, comfortable and pretty. Mike, the owner, is so nice to work with, responds to any emails/phone calls, offers suggestions, even sent us coupons!

Wonderful Place to Spend an Early Fall Vacation

If you are looking for a restful vacation in the Central portion of the Tarheel State, then this place is for you! We arrived the day after the summer season & the lake was still relatively warm, the kayaks worked GREAT & the Jacuzzi was perfect for those of us from Florida. I am from the area & spent a wonderful time during a reunion with both high school & college buddies. The house is very spacious with plenty of beds for everyone, lots of bedrooms with TVs in everyone. Don’t worry about cooking & eating utenzils, the place is fully stocked! Plenty of wood available for either of the two fireplaces &/or the outdoor fire pit! Spent one day in Blowing Rock….just an hour away. The place is well maintained & we all felt like we were at home. Will probably return in the future & have already recommended the home to other coworkers.

The best vacation for our families. The house is a youngsters paradise with kayaks, water slide, fishing, high dive next door. Lovely setting in the woods providing cooler than normal temps in the evening for sitting around the fire ring or back porch. Evening and morning fishing good for bass and catfish. Hybrides (small) plentiful along the shore line with #16 hooks for kids. House is in excellent condition and well kept considering the continuous summer rental. Plenty of child tapes to occupy the young ones during idle times. I would certainly recommend this property. One air conditioner went out and the owner had it fixed within 24 hours.

This home was above and beyond what I expected, the pictures do not do it justice! We had a girls' weekend with 10 of us, and everyone had plenty of space and their own bed. The owner was very informative and so helpful. The home was well-maintained, clean, comfortable, spacious, and it had so much to do, between the hot tub, firepit, dock with waterslide and swings, kayaks...we stayed very entertained! We will definitely be making a return trip(s).

The house was wonderful. Everything that was pictured, it what you get. The screened in patio with table was my favorite. The house was roomy. We had dinner guest and everyone loved it. Mike was great, he answered all my emails and was very detailed. We will stay again. Some of our guest was asking for information to book the house also.

My family and I had a wonderful stay, and we had the perfect kitchen/ amenities to prepare everything for my Sister's Baby Shower. This house was everything I expected and more. The house was just so well maintained and clean. It was such an easy process, since the owner was so great with providing me with all the details, we had a great agenda to go by which included all we needed to know about the house. I just wanted to let you know how much my family enjoyed your vacation home. With the amount of bedroom space you have, we were able to get three couples and all their children comfortably accommodated. We rent vacation homes in alot of vacation destinations, and unfortunatly sometimes they are not exactly as nice as advertised. Let me just say, your home is beautifully furnished and we found it to be very clean. We enjoyed being able to dock our boat and jet-skis in the protected cove just off of Lake Norman. All of the children enjoyed swimming and diving off of the dock, but especially liked the water slide. The evenings were relaxing spent in the hot tub, and around the fire pit. Love it, Love it, Love it! My family and I just returned from your wonderful lake house. What a vacation. Your home has the Three Cs I always look for: clean, cozy and comfortable; but yet spacious enough for all 12 of us. We all really enjoyed the dock watching the kids swim, fish, and just relaxing. We cannot wait until next year; I can already taste the smores at the fire pit. Thank you for the relaxing vacation we so desperately needed.

Our family just returned from a week at this awesome lake house. Each year for the past 5 years we have gone to a different lake to expose our 5 kids (plus friends) to different parts of the US. This was a GREAT house, especially for the price. We had a total of 10 people, all over the age of 15 and we never felt cramped in the house. The layout of the house was wonderful since the teens took over the basement and we basically stayed on the main level. The cove was quiet and we took advantage of the 3 kayaks the owner has on site. We spent the majority of our lake time in the upper, quieter area of the lake around the lake house - we did travel to the larger main part of the lake one day, but water is water and it is much less crowded in the upper area by the house. It was especially wonderful that the grocery store was close (5-7 miles)! And not much further away, we had a wide choice of restaurants although we only ate out one night. The owner was very easy to deal with and easy to reach for questions both before and during our stay! THANK YOU!

A Wonderful Vacation

We just returned from a family trip to the house, and absolutely had a great time. So much so, we only left the house once to eat dinner in town. The house was spacious and very clean, and suited every need that we had. We enjoyed the dock on a quiet "no wake" cove with plenty of water for jumping in. My young children enjoyed hoisting the pirate flag, and couldn't get enough of the water slide. They also enjoyed the kayaks, as well as did the adults. The deck was very comfortable, as it was always in the shade, a much needed break with as hot as it was. There was easy access to get the boats in the water, and plenty of room to tie up at the dock. The lake was beautiful and clean. Nothing bad to say about the whole trip. Owner is extremely easy to work with, and is always available for questions. Responses are fast, and the whole process was very easy. Would return in a heartbeat.
