Description of the Lake Placid vacation home rental

Our home is located in an upscaled, gated community [Lake June Pointe] in the quaint town of Lake Placid, Florida. Lake June is a 3500 acre sandy bottom lake with some of the best freshwater fishing in Florida. If you enjoy bird watching, water activities and breathtaking sunsets this is the place for you. Only 6 years new this beautiful custom home has the best of everything and has only been used as a weekend getaway. A large vaulted great room has a fire place with expansive lake views. The kitchen offers granite counters and everything needed to inspire any gourmet cook [we also provide a folder with menus from local restaurants]. The large master suite with magnificient views of Lake June is fit for royalty, with ten foot ceilings, jacuzzi tub, oversized shower and a huge walk-in closet. The remaining two bedrooms [10' ceilings], family room, kitchen and dining room all enjoy the western sunset exposure with an unobstructed view of the natural state park more than two miles across the lake. A spacious patio offers a place to read while sipping your coffee and watching the otters play on the dock, herons land on the beach and squirels chase each other in the giant Florida oak which offers shade in the large backyard. Down by the lake, sit on a lounge chair by the fire pit and enjoy an evening cocktail. Take a short walk out to the boat house and deck where you can enjoy the hammock or dock your boat for easy access during your stay. If your boat fits the lift or you have PWC's use our convenient lifts. This is the best place for stress release and relaxation that you could find. "A town with character", Lake Placid, Florida is located one hour south of Orlando with all its' attractions, 1 1/2 hours from either the east or west coast of Florida, and two hours from Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. It is the "town of murals", clown college, citrus groves and the caladium capital of the world. It is a friendly town surrounded by 29 lakes [Lake June being the premier lake]. If you are a golfer there are numerous courses available within minutes.
Highlands Hammock State Pk., two malls, movie theaters, lots of restaurants and car race track are all located in Sebring only 12 miles away.

• Other Fees: -Cleaning fee of $150 will be charged if home is not left as found. No fee charged if satisfactorily cleaned by tenant. -$75 electrical allowance, balance of bill taken from deposit. All other utilities included.
