Description of the Lake Tahoe vacation home rental

Conveniently located in Agate Bay (between Kings Beach and Tahoe City on the north shore of Lake Tahoe) this 2500+ square foot pet friendly Lake Tahoe vacation rental is situated on over a half acre parcel that backs to forest land. The home has wonderful seclusion and has recently been remodeled including new kitchen cabinets and appliances (including Thermador range), remodeled bathrooms, free high speed wireless internet, flat screen TV, new Ralph Lauren furniture and sheets (1000 thread count), and all pine wood walls. All these things make this home different than your standard rental home.

The property has a very serene mountain feel with plenty of outdoor space for the kids and the kids at heart. Leading directly from the house there are great hiking and biking trails in the summer and cross country and snowshoe trails in the winter. The home has a redwood deck with spa that faces the forest, an open kitchen with commercial Thermador range and oven, large rock fireplace, ping pong table, vaulted ceilings and a two car garage for those snowy winter nights.

The bedding configuration in the home is:

During the summer months guests have access to a shared pier, buoys (as available by reservation), community swimming pool, grassy lawn area with snack bar, sand volleyball court, and tennis courts. The pool is open from mid-June to Labor Day. NOT ALL AGATE BAY HOMES HAVE FULL ACCESS TO THE POOL, TENNIS COURTS, PIER & BOUY FIELD BUT THIS HOME HAS TO EVERYTHING.

If you've been to North Lake Tahoe you'll know it's close to everything. There is a dog friendly beach and a sand beach one mile away, north shore casino's are 5 miles away, Kings Beach 3 miles away, Tahoe City is 7 miles away, and you will be close to Northstar-at-Tahoe, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows.

In the winter, discount lift tickets are available for Northstar and Squaw Valley (Save up to $11 on adult tickets).

This pet friendly Lake Tahoe vacation rental home is fully equipped with linens, bath towels equal to the maximum occupancy of the house, free high speed wireless internet, spa towels, pot/pans, dishes, microwave, coffee pot, TV's & DVD's, washer & dryer, and barbeque. The house will also provide a starter set of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.

Area Description

Located in Agate Bay (between Kings Beach and Tahoe City on the north shore of Lake Tahoe). Close to Northstar, Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley. The home backs to forest and is located only 1/2 mile from Lake Tahoe.

Community swimming pool, tennis courts, and pier and buoy field open from mid-June to Labor Day.
