Description of the Lake Tahoe vacation home rental

Agatam Lodge is a classic Tahoe Mountain style home in Tahoe Vista only one block from Agatam Beach in Tahoe Vista. The house is suitable for a family or two small familes. Also perfect for three couples vacationing together with a CA King in the Master BR and TWO Queen Bedrooms (& a SMALL,TINY bunk room). There is a big sunny front deck for relaxing and having family BBQ's. Gas grill provided. There are some bikes and beach chairs to use in the garage.

Just up the street the pavement deadends into the woods, with 5 miles of hiking or dog-walking trails. This is also great for cross-country skiing and snowshowing in the winter

Agatam Lodge has 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, with 2 bedrooms and a full bath on the entry floor, and the master bedroom and bath and open living area on the upper floor. There is also an additional 1/2 bath upstairs.

The very small,TINY!Bunk room downstairs has a set of bunkbeds with 2 twin beds, good for kids or 1 adult, SLEEPING ROOM ONLY.

The gourmet kitchen has all new appliances, gorgeous St Cecilia granite slab countertops and a new rustic maple hardwood floor. The dining table seats six and there are comfortable barstools at the island counter. The interior furnishings of the house are in an updated casual Mountain Craftsman style. The bath counters are granite also.
Relax on the sunny deck and enjoy the filtered view of Lake Tahoe down at the Beach. We have a brand new gas BBQ and very comfortable deck furniture to be able to enjoy the outdoors every minute of your Tahoe vvacation.

Numerous great local restaurants are just a short walk, including Spindleshank's, Captain Jon's, and Le Petit Pier. The Old Range Steakhouse is at the foot of our street, and you can walk down to dinner and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets on the lake. It is a short walk to Vista Gallery with some of the North Shore Lake Tahoe's best original paintings and sculpture.

The main shopping area of King's Beach is a short drive for groceries at Safeway (1 mile) and other shopping, and Tahoe City is a short drive the other direction.

The house has all granite countertops, new carpets and hardwood floor, and hand laid slate entry. There is a wood stove in the living area for cool nights, and all of the bedrooms have cozy designer quilts and luxury bedding.

There is a one car (mainly for ski and bike storage and the Foosball table) garage with several bikes and some rafts for floating down the Truckee River. A Foosball table is located in the garage, too. The driveway has plenty of room for an RV or a boat trailer.
