Description of the Lake Travis vacation home rental

Lake Travis Getaway is a Private Waterfront Home with Swim and Boat Dock located in Spicewood, Texas (35 miles West of Austin). The house sits in a quiet area on over an acre of beautiful land with a gentle slope down to the water. It sits on a peninsula formed by the meetings of Lake Travis, Pedernales River, and Colorado River and is one of the best areas on Lake Travis for Water Skiing, Wake Boarding and Water Sports. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and Sleeps 8 comfortably. The Master Bedroom has a King Size Bed with private bathroom, 2nd bedroom has a Queen Size Bed, 3rd bedroom has 4 Twins (one is a Trundle Bed). The 2nd bathroom is in the hallway off of the Living Room. There is a Kitchen that is Fully Equipped with all needed kitchen utensils, full sized refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher. For our guests enjoyment there are 2 TV’s with satellite cable (one in master and one in living), a VCR and DVD player, Stereo/CD player with indoor and outdoor speakers, a selection of books, magazines, cd’s, and movies. There is also a washer/dryer for guests use. We provide all Linens & Bath Towels. Come spend a relaxing vacation at Lake Travis Getaway…

Area Information

There is a Private Boat/Swimming/Fishing Dock just steps away from the house. Under the house is a wonderful covered “entertainment” area overlooking the water with outdoor bar, propane gas grill, hammock, chairs, dartboard (bring your darts!), and horseshoes.

Lake Travis Getaway is a short ride to Austin, The Music Capital of the World, where you can visit the well known areas downtown like 6th Street or Soco.

Want to take a thrilling Eco-Adventure tour zipping through large cypress trees? We are just minutes to Cypress Valley Canopy Tours.

Wine lovers be awareStone House Vineyards is located in the neighborhood! No need to drive to taste wonderful Texas Wine grown on site when you can take a relaxing stroll to the vineyard.

Just 20 minutes is the Historic Town of Marble Falls, where you can enjoy a home made hill country breakfast at Blue Bonnet Cafe or look into coming back for the Annual Power Boat Races on Lake Marble Falls.

Take in a movie or cute new outfit at the new Hill Country Galleria in Bee Caves/Lakeway. Lots of shopping at unique boutiques!

Great Spring Break Getaway

This was a great place for our family - it was away from the hustle and bustle of Austin yet close enough for us to drive in for a day of sightseeing. Our two boys enjoyed the woods around the house as well as the board games - they never once asked for the tv to be turned on.
