Description of the Lake Travis vacation home rental

Stone House Lodge is a Private Estate with Spectacular views from almost every room! Located just 35 miles West of Austin in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, Stone House Lodge sits on a quiet 1.8 acre lot in a small gated community. Enjoy the sunset by the outdoor fireplace on the enormous back deck with a large 37 foot Negative Edge Pool overlooking the Texas Hill Country and Lake Travis or have a relaxing soak in the Hot Tub .

Some amenities include:

** Home Theater with 102-in widescreen TV, Projector and eight padded home theater recliners. HD DVD, Blu Ray HD DVD, HD Cable and 100's of Movies.

** Game Room with: Foosball, Pool Table, Ping Pong, Air Hockey, Slot Machine, Pin Ball Machine, Electric Piano, 36-in HDTV and mini wet bar.

** Exercise Room with Free Weights, Treadmill and Weight Machines by BowFlex.

Stone House is layed out with two master bedrooms. The first master has a Flat Screen TV with floor to ceiling windows that have electronic blinds and king size bed. This bedroom also has a private master bath with a jacuzzi tub and large walk-in shower with his and hers vanity. The second master bedroom has a king size bed and flat screen TV. There is a full bath with shower/tub combo just outside this room. Upstairs you have the 3rd bedroom with a queen size bed and private balcony, full bathroom, exercise room with balcony, media room, game room with balcony, 4th bedroom with 2 sets of twin bunkbeds with private balcony and 5th bedroom with 1 set of twin bunks and 2 twins. The 4th and 5th bedroom is joined by a jack and jill bathroom.

There is so much to do at Stone House Lodge, you won't get bored! We also provide Wifi with a computer, bicycles and outdoor games like basketball, football and kickball!

During certain times of the year, we offer pool heat for an additional nightly charge.

Stone House Lodge is a resort inside itself. With a negative edge pool, hot tub, full game room, home theater, exercise room - you couldn't ask for much more in a vacation! But if you decide you want to experience a little more on Lake Travis and the surrounding area, minutes away you can zip through a thrilling Eco-Adventure at Cypress Valley Canopy Tours, take a tour at on of our local vineyards like Spicewood Vineyard or Stone House Vineyards, experience 32 natural springs at Krause Springs, Texas style BBQ at Opie's or live music at Angel's Ice House. You can also take a short ride to the historic town of Marble Falls or catch a movie at the new Hill Country Galleria in Bee Caves/Lakeway.

Deposits: $1,500 Deposit and $25.00 Reservation Fee is charged with each reservation. The Reservation Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Half (1/2) of the Total Reservation Amount plus the $1,500 Damage Deposit & $25 Reservation Fee is due at the time of booking. Final amount due 30 days prior to arrival.

Other Fees: $295 Cleaning Fee. The cleaning fee is held out of the deposit. **During certain months, we can heat the pool at an additional cost. Request MUST be made and approved 1 week prior to arrival. A $500.00 Cancellation Fee is charged if you cancel once a reservation has been made. If less than 30 days notice of cancellation is given then the full amount of the reservation will be charged. If you leave early or are a "no-show", you will be charged the full amount of the reservation.

Best vacation ever!

Absolutely luxury living. Relaxing, quiet, entertaining with plenty of space. Chef Mark was recommended for us and he is amazing. Don't spend one minute cooking/cleaning - hire Mark! Heated pool is wonderful as is the hot tub. House easily sleeps 3 couples and 8 children. There is nothing missing in the house. Campfire, fishing, bike riding, basketball, swimming, movie theatre, game room... this list goes on and on. You won't get bored, you will get complete relaxation or fun or both! The rental company is easy to work with and has many services to offer. Have the best vacation ever at Lake Travis. The only negative is that you do have to leave eventually!

Cowell Family Reunion

The Stone House Lodge has to be the most comfortable housing that our family has rented for our periodic reunions. Unfortunately, a cold front dramatically lowered temperatures and we were not able to use the infinite-edge swimming pool. Family vacation

This year our annual family vacation at the Comal River was ruined due to the closing of the river. We started a mad search for a replacement. To be honest we did not have high expectations. Boy, were we knock off our feet. The Stone House was wonderful. The kids big and small loved the lake, the swimming pool, the game room and the media room. The accomindations were excellent and the view was unbelieveable. Our stay at Stone House turned what could have been a very disappointing experience into a great one. Also a thanks goes out to Laci and Marsha you were both great.
