Description of the Lake of the Ozarks vacation home rental

Three bedrooms, one with king bed, one with queen bed, and one with double bed. Roomy, clean, two-level house with shady level yard on lake front with large patio and 2nd level deck and sunroom for sitting out and enjoying rain showers. Private boat launch/swimming/dock fishing area for exclusive use of only those who stay here. HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE HOME. You can have your own personal vacation space for less than the cost of condo or hotel/motel.

Crappie beds are scattered among the 10 boat slips on our community dock where even catfish and bass are caught along with the plentiful crappie. There is also a public launch, picnic, swimming beach at McCubbins Point, a 2 minute drive from the home's driveway should you wish to use the free public facilities at McCubbins Point instead of in our Glenmeadows.

Ideal for serious fisherman or family getaway without the hassle of excessive noise and overcrowding. Gentle sloping walking for exercise buffs, and those who don't tolerate steep grades. All that you need bring is your fishing/boating/beaching equipment and a smile for sitting under the shade trees in the spacious yard, or on the front patio and observe the activity on the water.

Age restriction. This is a family oriented resort community. Smoking is okay on the patio. Ashtrays provided. No available boat slip. Boat can be launched at community boat launch and stored on community property or at the lake house.

The house is eight miles east by water from the Grand Glaize Bridge, the party cove being 4 miles east, in the Glaize Arm of Lake of the Ozarks inside the Lake of the Ozarks State Park boundaries. Located off Highway A, seven and one-half miles east of busy Highway 54, north of Camdenton, and South of Osage Beach where the "action" is.

There is a public beach with grass and trees for swimming and rocking in the waves only a two-minute drive away from the house on the same little peninsula on which the house sits. Driving slowly is recommended as wildlife is abundant. Boat launching facilities are also at that area. All sights and amenities are a close drive away.

There is also a military recreation area only 1 mile from the house for those military/government employees/retirees. It has many amenities (boat/jet ski rental, store, beach, camping, cabins). Reservations for cabins and camping during the summer vacation season are usually hard to get unless they are booked months in advance. We offer a 25% discount for active duty military.

We have openings in August and beyond. May, June, and July are booked at this time.
