Hot week!

July 10, 2012

Was almost too hot to enjoy the water! Fishing was slow everywhere. Dock is on main channel so our boat did get tossed around quite a bit, so bring plenty of bumpers. This end of the lake is so much quieter. Great location, close to many hot spots including Jolly Rogers, Coconuts, Bumps Barefoot and H Toads. House has 3 king sized beds which were nice, 2 up and 1 down. Older home. Need to bring your own paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, trash bags, soap, clothes washing soap and dryer sheets.

We rented this property July of 2011 for our annual vacation with a group of close friends. The home was beautiful and well maintained. We had a great time the multiple levels and multiple decks allowed us to be together and not feel like we were getting in each others way. Swimming was fantastic, plenty of room on the dock for sun bathing. The swing on the dock was a marvelous place to sit and read a book. The guys spent hours fishing and the bites never stopped. We loved waking up and enjoying our coffee on the back deck. The neighborhood was quiet yet close enough to shopping that we didn't feel trapped. The owner was absolutely phenomenal to work with, responsive and helpful and very very kind. Always concerned with our comfort and making sure we enjoyed our stay. HIGHLY recommend.

Everything we needed for a perfect vacation

We had a wonderful time while we stayed in your vacation home! There was plenty of room for a family of 6 adults. Everything we needed was there-even a blender for margarita night! We spent early mornings and evenings fishing off the dock and the dock was great for daytime swimming and sunning. Having a fridge on the dock was an added bonus! Sunsets were great, the water was perfect--we had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us!
