Description of the Lakebay vacation cabin rental
A perfect retreat for family and friends, just 90 minutes from Seattle. This wonderfully furnished home, is the idea place to relax. Soak in the hot tub while watching eagles sore over the lake below, or build a fire in the huge stone fireplace and curl up with a book.
The three comfortably bedrooms sleep up to 10 guests, with down comforters, pillows and towels for everyone. The large dining room table is a great place to gather with friends over a meal cooked in the well-equipped kitchen, or on the bar-b-que on the deck.
With seven private acres, you won't be disturbed. There is plenty to do on site, including fishing, boating, vollyball, and hiking. Up the street 1/4 mile is a Penrose State Park, with hiking trails, beaches and clam digging.
You won't be dissapointed with a stay at The Moosehead Cabin. Join the others that have discovered this little piece of paradise, and have made it their "own".
Area Description
Just 90 minutes from Seattle near Gig Harbor. Country living, with salt water beaches closeby but located on a beautiful, quiet freshwater lake. On the weekends, enjoy wine-tasting up the road, or head into Gig Harbor for boutique shopping. The Moosehead Cabin sits on seven private acres with plenty to do on site, including a seasonal pool.

Wow -- what a fantastic place you have there. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. In fact, in our three days, most of us never left the property (unless you count the middle of the lake). The pool, the fire ring, and play structure were huge hits with the kids. We really felt as though we were being hosted in someone's home instead of just renting a vacation house. My family and I spent spring break at the cabin. It was great. The kids could run around the property without us checking on them every 5 min. and the view of the lake was so calming. We loved waking up to it every morning. The hot tub was great on the cold nights and movies with the kids by the fire was fun. Well worth the money and the drive. Owner Supplied Testimonials
This has been so wonderfully relaxing for our entire family. All of the comforts of home that I spent hours packing, to the point that our SUV could hold no more, we found provided so kindly for our use during our stay. From the wide variety of CDs, magazines, games, toys, history books, and children’s videos to the fully equipped kitchen, we lacked nothing. Even the rain and cloudy skies are beautiful out here, and we enjoyed time reading, playing games, visiting and drawing pictures. I can’t remember a time when my kids have played so well and watched so little television. In fact, the only time my husband and I turned on the TV for ourselves was to watch the Mariner game. Thank you for sharing your corner of paradise with us. We enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to come back.

Hightlights: The lake, fishing, walks on the beach finding crabs, whiffle ball in the backyard, late-night card games, group meals under Moose-antler lighting, maize-colored paint, cape-cod chairs, branch cabinet holders, sunning on the deck, books and books and books in front of the roaring fire.

Otherwise, we were held to this place like a magnet.
