Description of the Lakehead vacation cabin rental

This cozy 2BR/1BA cabin nestled in tall pines is one mile north of Antler's Resort and Marina in Lakehead. It has a kitchen complete with small appliances, microwave and linens. The carport houses a washer, dryer and charcoal bbq. The back yard is completely fenced. It's a great place to get away from the busyness of the city. Fish the Sacramento River, hike the canyon, or head north on I-5 to Mt Shasta Ski Park! BLM land is just minutes away.

Area Description

One mile north of Antler's Resort and Marina, the cabin is nestled in a low traffic neighborhood among mature trees. The Sacramento River is approximately one mile north via a combination of paved and dirt roads. Plenty of room to relax and unwind. A clean, full service grocery store is minutes away. Easy access to Shasta Lake, Shasta Dam, Shasta Caverns and Mt. Shasta Ski Park. The Ski Park is assuredly one of the easiest resorts to drive to in the west!

We were very impressed with the cabin. Very clean, cute and well supplied. The kids loved playing outside, exploring and watching the train go by. The beds were comfortable and the decor very nice. When I am in the Redding area I would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from the stuffy hotel. Thank you to the owners for the thoughtful touches that made our stay a great experience.
