Description of the Lakewood vacation cottage rental

"Canada in Wisconsin!" This great escape cottage is located on a 67 acre, no-wake lake which is great for swimming, boating, fishing, snorkeling and loon watching. If you wish to leave the quiet lake of only 14 cottages, you may take the channel to a larger lake for designated recreational hours. The home is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath, year round and can be rented by the week or weekend if available.
Everything is furnished for you except your bath towels and food. You don't even have to clean when you leave!!

Area Information

The Lakewood area has wonderful cross country/biking/hiking, ATV and snowmobile trails. The town has a grocery store, quaint shops, various eating establishments, churches,a library, facilities to work out, get a massage or have your hair or nails done! If you enjoy golfing, there is an awesome local 18 hole course just 10 minutes from the cottage.

Wonderful homey cottage

We had a great time In Lakewood on Bear Lake. The men enjoyed the great fishing and the women enjoyed the paddleboat and the channel views of some great birds for our bird watching as well as the great time we had making cards and rubber stamping. The cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything that was needed. We will be sure to return.

Fun on Bear lake

4 generations of family stayed at Conni's Cottage over the holiday weekend in May. we caught plenty of fish with the highlight being a 22" walleye. Our family makes it an annual event to stay at Connie's. Lots of fun included swimming, fishing, boating, casino at night and family fire outside at night. Can't beat it for quality family time. The cottage is extremely comfortible and family friendly.

Great Vacation

Very nice cabin just a few feet from the water. The sky at night is so clear you can see stars you may never know existed and the air so clean your sinuses will clear out immediately. The cabin was very clean, well supplied and comfortable. The lake was very quiet with just a few boats out everyday, it was almost like having your own private 67 acre lake! We caught numerous northerns, the biggest at 30 inches, a 22" walleye, numerous largemouth bass from 2-4 lbs. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful with local fishing spots/ tricks. The local town grocery had all the necessities and a bait shop was just minutes away. The local food was great, with Golden Eagle Pizza and The Beach Club a must stop for great food and plenty of it!!You won't go wrong with this rental, the best in 4 trips for us!!! Thanks Connie, Jody and all the gang for a great vacation

too short of weekend

had a very enjoy able stay, but as alway it rained one day, lotzof lakes around for the fishermen, the cabin sits on a very quite lake, beautiful. we just brought our towels, and foods, most of everything is there, its nice if people who stay maybe just leaving alittle something behind... I hope to rent it again in 2010 but for a longer time,, not far from green bay. connie is great...

My family and I had a fabulous time at Connie's cottage !! She had just about everything you would need at the cottage !! There was plenty of room for everyone, and being on the lake was wonderful !! Would have liked to have stayed longer

I'm a owner of a cottage about 30 miles away that I could have stayed at but was looking for something closer to stay at while attending an annual golf outing. I found the setting to be next to pristine with a great view of only the Nicolet National forest across the lake. Being that we're away most of the time, I wasn't able to spend any time on the lake and left with a feeling that I wish I would have taken a couple of extra days just to hang out at the cottage and lake. We were able to take advantage of the fire pit and I told Connie I'm going to incorporate some of her ideas in improving the fire pit at my cottage. I would highly recommend this cottage and set up. In fact, I already have to a co-worker with family who has been talking about renting a cabin up in Northern WI this summer.
