Rented this home for 5 days for my daughter's wedding. The home is lovely, but poor service from the owners made the stay much less satisfying than it should have been. The main problem was in communication. Sandy, one of the owners and the main contact, became difficult to contact after the rental fee with deposit had been paid in full. She never answered her phone, its mailbox was always full so we couldn't leave a message, and sometimes she would respond to emails and sometimes not. Fortunately, Brent, the other owner, would respond to my calls, although not always to my daughters. When we checked into the home we discovered a number of problems. The kitchen counters and island were dirty, we had to wipe them off before we put anything on them. There was some rotten meat left in the refrigerator in the pantry which smelled horrible, and the ice maker in that fridge was frozen over and there was mold growing in the freezer. (I didn't know mold could grow in a freezer.) One of our party had to clean it out. All of the garbage cans outside were full, so I had to empty one of them and drive around and find some place to dump it. This was important since we were required by the contract to place all garbage in those cans before leaving in order to get our deposit back. We paid to have the pool heated but it was full of leaves and the tile at water level was scummy looking. One of our party spent over an hour that first day netting the leaves to make it swimable. The pool guy showed up two days later to clean the pool. My wife had specifically asked Sandy in an earlier email if the pool would be ready when we got there and Sandy had responded rather rudely. At the end of our stay we followed the contract to the letter to make sure we got our $2800 deposit back. We were supposed to have it back within 2 weeks. It actually took 4 weeks and 2 phone calls to get it back. The check was made out to me but mailed to my daughter in Seattle, so she had to send it to me. After all of the problems we had had I decided to take the check to the bank it was written on to cash it. Good thing I did because the account had insufficient funds. It took another call to Brent to get this straightened out and get our deposit back. The house is lovely but I would not recommend it to anyone because of the problems we had with the owners.

Very enjoyable property. Has everything that you need. The pool was very inviting, with a beautiful yard surrounding it. It was great to be able to use the wonderful outdoor kitchen. Definitely a place for a group to stay at.

My husband and I rented out this compound for 3 nights for our wedding. We had an absolutely amazing time! There was plenty of space for our friends and family to sleep. We were able to have a post-wedding barbeque the next day to celebrate. The house is very clean and the owners are extremely helpful. We would recommended this compound to anyone looking for a unique wedding location or just a great weekend escape.

I traveled to Las Vegas with my two toddlers, husband, parents, in-laws and sister-in-law. This place was perfect. Everyone had their own bedroom with private bath; the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed -- and in great condition; it was clean; the grounds were fabulous; the decor warm and welcoming; and the location excellent. It was a short drive to the strip, but the gated property made it feel like it was hundreds of miles away. There's a beautiful park a block away that was a great place to take the boys. The pictures on this site are amazing, but they don't even do this place justice. I would recommend this rental based on the owners (great communicators and very accommodating), the location and the house itself. Beautiful!
