Pomona Vista Luxury Lake Home Rental

We hope you enjoy your vacation stay here at Pomona Vista -- providing luxury lake house accomodations, wilderness trails, woodburning fireplace, stunning wintertime views, and a secluded/quiet location on the south shore of Lake Pomona.

Pomona Vista has been built to maximize the nearly 180 degree view of the lake and surrounding wooded wildlife areas. The custom designed lake home was completed at the end of 2008, with the primary purpose of serving as the owner's weekend/summer residence and to be used as an additional working office and meeting space for the owner's business.

For selected dates throughout the year, and through all four seasons, we plan on continuing to share Pomona Vista with guests who are looking for a unique, quiet, and exclusive home-by-the-lake.

During your stay, we hope you will enjoy observing or photographing the surrounding wildlife, including deer, turkey, beaver, and over a dozen different species of birds. Look for the deer at dusk, each evening, along the trails behind the lake house. During the summer, see our local flock of American White Pelicans with their 9 foot wingspans. For our winter guests, be sure to spot the nesting family of American Bald Eagles in the trees behind our property. The fish are always biting, too!

Pomona Lake is among Kansas’s most scenic recreation and wildlife areas. The lake provides opportunities for a large variety of recreational activities on nearly 10,500 acres of public land surrounding the 4,000 surface acre lake. The US Corps of Engineers and the Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks operate and maintain campgrounds, boat ramps, picnicking facilities, swimming beaches, nature trails, information centers and other recreational facilities. These facilities provide excellent settings for camping, picnicking, sightseeing, hunting, fishing, power boating, sailing, swimming and water sports, hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking.
