Description of the Le-Puy-en-Velay vacation home rental
Charming stone house in a village square of Paulhaguet - sleeps seven, one queen sized bed and five singles. Kitchen downstairs with french doors overlooking square. Just steps to local restaurants, shops, bakeries... everything one might need. House is situated in the Senouire Valley, 1 km from the national park of livradois- excellent location for hiking, biking, taking in the sites of beautifully restored villages (Chilhac, Lavaudieu, Lavoute CHilhac, Chavaniac Lafayette). Easy access to the ALlier river- canoeing and rafting. Local market monday mornings just out the door- several brocante (antique) markets during the summer in the area. Wonderful spot to kick back, taste the cheeses and enjoy the natural surroundings. Only 360 euros a week in summer and reduced in other seasons. Poss to pay in dollars. Come and visit the auvergne!
local markets, "vide grenier" where everyone puts out old stuff- great buys for flea market hunters... Chateau de La marquis lafayette right nearby- local tours of farms and tastings...
