Powder House Lodge - Swimming Pool - Hot Tub

Powder House Lodge features 4 bedrooms-3 baths. Sleeps 14. Three bedrooms have a comfortable queen beds and the fourth has two sets of bunk beds. One queen/queen bunk bed and one twin/twin bunk bed. This room is a hit with kids. The upstairs queen bedroom features french doors that open to overlook the loft and greatroom.

Newly built in 2010, the cabin is located in the Gilded Mountain subdivision. Terry Peak ski resort is 3 miles away, Deadwood's Main Street is 5 miles away and Lead is only 3 miles up the road.

The cabin has its own private hot tub on the wrap-around deck, two gas fireplaces, two living rooms with flat screen tvs and heated stone tile floors in the entryway and bathrooms.

Guests of Powder House Lodge have full use of the central clubhouse located 200 ft from the cabin. It includes an outdoor salt water heated pool, two community hot tubs, sauna, pool table, air hockey, large flat screen tvs, and exercise room.

Motorcycle owners, you'll be happy to hear that there is no gravel roads to cabin.

Keep a lookout for deer while you relax in your jacuzzi on your private deck.

This cabin is owned by a local Bismarck family.

Come to where all the action is in the beautiful northern Black Hills. Gilded Mountain recreation area is a new development of vacation homes built just SW of Lead, SD. It's architecture is that of an an old mining town which is much of the history in this area. Wildlife like deer and turkeys are plentiful in the area.

Terry Peak Ski Resort is only 2 miles up the road. Historic Lead is also to two miles away. Main street Deadwood, where all the gaming and many gourmet restaurants are located is 5 miles from Powder House. The Mickelson Trail's Sugarloaf Trail Head is only 1/2 mile from the Gilded Mountain entrance. Snowmobiling from the cabin is available as well.

The central hills are a short, scenic, drive where you'll find Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, the town of Keystone and Hill City.

The beautiful Spearfish canyon is only 7 miles down 14A. Here you'll find waterfalls and Spearfish Creek. This is one of the prettiest drives in America.
