Description of the Leavenworth vacation cabin rental

The luxurious feel of “lodge” comfort beckons you as you enter the Meadow Wood Lodge. Nestled on 2.5 fenced acres, in the Shugart Flats area, and sleeping 2-8 guests most comfortably, the lodge has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and is very private.
Wrapped in pine and river rock accents, the warm and cozy living area is the perfect gathering place. Large gas fireplace adorned with a gorgeous log mantle, high ceilings, and picture windows, bring the beauty of the pines in from every corner.
The fully equipped kitchen offers a breakfast bar with seating for 3, and is fully open to the dining and living space. With seating for six, the dining area is the perfect place to enjoy a gourmet meal with some of the local fare or vintner samples. Accented with french doors , the dining area also grants access to the beautiful stamped concrete patio with built in fire pit. Overlooking the grounds of the Lodge, the patio invites you to enjoy a crackling campfire as dusk settles in, or grab a blanket and stargaze the night away.
The main floor also has a cozy little TV area for enjoying a movie and popcorn, with DVD Player, or Satellite TV, or you could just curl up with a good book and let the day slip away. For those of you who just need to work a bit, Wi-Fi is also available.
The master bedroom offers a beautiful king size log bed, and private sliding glass door to the patio area. Main floor bathroom with shower and w/d are also located on the main floor. As you travel upstairs you will find a full bath and two separate bedrooms, one with a queen sized log bed, and the other with 2 twin beds with uniquely crafted ski headboards, as well as a nook area, with full size mattress on the floor for the little campers.

 A much needed relazing getaway,, November 4, 2009

I had an awesome stay at this cabin. The location was nice, surrounded by greenery though the gps had no lcue where the place was but it sure did get us 5 mins away from the place. From outside it looked a bit shabbym, but it is one of the cosiest places I have stayed in for a long time. Highly recommended place to getaway for a weekend or a week.
