This one bedroom home with a loft has incredible views, cozy furniture, quality linens, woodstove, brand new Pergo floors and living room furnishings that were installed in 2004!

Enjoy your morning cup of coffee while sitting on the deck and enjoying the serene river views. Or warm yourself by the woodstove (wood provided) and watch the snow come down. Or enjoy snowmobiling at Ponderosa Estates during the winter months.

Marie’s Cabin has all the amenities of home in a more serene and intimate setting. Stay in, cook a meal and just forget about the outside world. Or enjoy the scenery as you cruise into town and enjoy all the local festivities.

End your evening by cuddling up with that special someone in your plush king bed in that rustic style room. Feel like you have truly escaped all the hassles of the fast paced city life and fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the river flowing by.

The town of Plain is anything, but plain. Just about fifteen minutes away from the replica Bavarian village of Leavenworth Plain is a world apart. It lays in a pleasant forested valley stretched along the snow fed Wenatchee river.

It is a perfect place to escape to. There are small cabins and large ones. Fancy to basic. Many of them are directly on the water and others up the hill in Ponderosa Estate. In winter the river rushes sturdy down the valley. In sumer it slows a bit and residents sometimes spend days just sitting in the river. A great way to enjoy the hot summers.

Just down the road there is a well known general store, a garden center and other facilities in the little town.

From Plain you can proceed south to Leavenworth to enjoy great dining, shops and frequent year round mountain festivals. The Oktoberfest and Christmas Lighting ceremonies are world famous and that is said with modesty.

West of Plain you will find the large and impressive Lake Wenatchee with all its attractions. Boating, swimming and enjoying. North of Plain is the less well known Chiwawa river area. There is much to see and do . The area offers miles of great hiking and biking. In winter you can cross-country ski or drive hundreds of miles of snow mobile trails. Go deep into the mountains to see stupendous terrain and maybe do some fishing.
