Beautiful mountain cabin!

Thank you so much for your wonderful cabin! It was a beautiful weekend to get away, sled, play board games, and enjoy the wonderfully appointed cabin. The cabin is immaculate, brand new and has all the things you need to have a great vacation. Comfortable beds, clean, nice linens, a nicely stocked kitchen, and much more. The owners are great to deal with and very professional. We had our deposit back right away with no issues. We can't wait to visit again!

Great family weekend getaway

Our family of 5 (plus dog) had a great weekend getaway at the "Chalet". The cabin was surprisingly well stocked, including kids toys, books, movies, etc. Thought we would have to bring more supplies, but nothing was overlooked by the owners! Small, but cozy and plenty of room for the family to sleep and enjoy the area. Cute little Plain Hardware Store down the road too with good coffee. Definitely recommend the Ponderosa Pines Chalet and would stay again!

The cabin was true to what the web site described. It is small but nice. 2 families stayed during our time there. My family took the loft and were very comfortable up there 4 twin beds. The other family took the bedroom and the sofa bed they have a teenage son who slept there. The Currans were very responsive to every question I had when booking the place. We did everything through email, which made things a lot easier for me. I would ask a question and have a response within a couple of hours. We enjoyed our time there. The only thing that would have made it better would be snow, but the owners are not in charge of that :).

WOW! What an AWESOME place, and the view is to die for! Didn't want to leave the house but did so we could see the great town of Leavenworth. We will be taking the trip again, and will be taking trip with family too they must experience what we did! AWESOME!

Winter Getaway

We had a wonderful time spending the weekend at the Ponderosa Pine Chalet. We were hoping to be in a winter wonderland, and the weather didn't dissappoint us. Had a beautiful snow fall Saturday night. The Chalet was very comfortable and well stocked. It feels more like staying at a friends house -very welcoming. The beds were wonderful-some of the best nights sleep I have had in a long time. The landlords are very responsive when making arrangements. I would highly recommend this location for a weekend or longer vacation. Thank you!

We had such a terrific time staying at your cabin this weekend. The boys loved the sleeping loft -- in fact, we all slept up there together like we were camping out. There was snow on the ground, and we really enjoyed the area. Spent Saturday in Leavenworth with lunch at Gustav's and then wandering around the town. Sunday our whole family tried skiing for the first time ever. And on our way back Monday, we had lunch at the old diner/inn in Skykomish. So many great memories for all of us, especially for our young boys. Thank you for the great accommodations. You have a wonderfully cozy cabin!

We loved it! What a great getaway cabin. When we got there, kids (3 & 5 yrs)played with the toyboxes and had a great time. It snowed 8 inches while we were there, creating great scenery. We drove to Leavenworth for the "Town Lighting" and in the snow it was like taking the kids to the North Pole. They got a kick out of seeing the main stree all it up, and seeing the folks wearing costumes, like "Father Christmas" and Santa Claus. We played with the kids in the snow around the cabin the next morning ... we pulled them around in the sled that was at the cabin, and had a great time. All the cabin's amenities worked fine - washer/dryer (kids wet clothes), tv, dvd player, kitchen, heat (electric wall heaters plus wood stove) and all the beds were clean and well kept. Highly recommended.
