Description of the Leavenworth vacation cabin rental

The cabin is a cozy Riverside Cabin on the banks of the Wenatchee River. Located near the small town of Plain, 20 miles from Leavenworth. The Osprey Nest is a rustic cedar sided cabin -- inside it has an airy open plan with high pine ceilings and a wall of windows and glass doors that open onto a deck overlooking the beautiful Wenatchee River. It has two open loft bedrooms – the river side loft has a Queen bed -- the woods side loft has a Queen bed and two twin size fold-out loveseats. The fold out sofa bed in the living room allows the cabin to accommodate up to eight people. The Osprey Nest offers a fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, Jacuzzi jetted bathtub in the bathroom, a cozy wood stove with glass doors in the living area is perfect in the evenings or winter days. It has a DVD/VHS player in the living room armoire as well as basic cable and free wireless internet.

Area Information

The area around the cabin offers much for individuals and families to enjoy. Located within easy driving distance is beautiful Lake Wenatchee were one can swim, wind surf or enjoy boating, there is also an 18 hole golf course called Kahler Glen. Just a short 25 minute drive from the cabin will bring you to the "Bavarian Village" of Leavenworth. Once a dying logging town Leavenworth transformed itself into a Bavarian village in the 1960's. It is as authentic and delightful as found in the Alps themselves. Here you can enjoy the unique shops; many featuring local crafts or European imports. You can enjoy great German cuisine along with American and Continental specialties. Leavenworth offers great family fun with a family fun center, miniature golf, as well as a great new community swimming pool and skate board center. If you enjoy the arts then Leavenworth has much to offer as well, including the famous Leavenworth Summer Theater, Art in The Park, and classic music at the famous Icicle Creek Music Center. Lastly there are many festivals and special events through the year, the cabin is accessable and lovely at all seasons!

Great getaway!

Everything was as promised and advertised. Clean, cozy and peaceful! Location, location, location!! We went in November. There was snow on the ground and it was beautiful. The Osprey has everything you need for a romantic couples getaway or for family fun. I can only imagine what the osprey would be like in the summer time! We we very thankful to be able to take our dogs with us. The Ospresy has lots of room for everyone! Thank you! What a great place!

Perfect Cabin Vacation

My 13 year old son and I recently spent a weekend vacation at the Osprey Nest and it was everything we hoped for and we both enjoyed it very much. The cabin was very nice, comfortable and in a beautiful location. We were able to Ski at Stevens Pass and shop in Leavenworth. But at the end of each day we couldn't wait to return to this piece of paradise nestled in the woods overlooking the river and just relax. I can't wait to go back again!

My husband and I stayed at Osprey Nest for 3 days right after our wedding and could not have had a better, more relaxing time. The cabin is adorable with an updated kitchen and bath, soft beds, a cozy wood stove, and gorgeous setting. We loved waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the river and our dogs loved romping around and swimming in it! We will definitely be back.

Our family had the best time ever. Right on the river, even the teenage boys loved it! They built a huge teepee by the river and we went tubing down the river! The Osprey Nest was peaceful, relaxing, and absolutely wonderful! I can't wait to return!

Secluded Getaway

Super private, secluded getaway place that is great for family's, couples or groups of old duffer golfers and sometimes fishermen like me and my 3 buddies. I would recommend it highly to anyone who wants to enjoy a super cabin experience in a beautiful setting.
