Amazing family get away!

We had a wonderful time staying in the Pine Chalet Cabin for our family vacation. The cabin is so warm and inviting and had enough room for our 11 adults and 7 children! We love the beautiful view from the large windows and the cozy atmosphere of the cabin itself. We also loved the fact that is a short walk to the Lake, and a short drive to the beautiful Lake Wenatchee State park. We also love Leavenworth and it is just a beautiful little drive away. Our family has stayed in this cabin twice now, and we will definitely be returning, it is becoming our "home away from home."

Beautiful cabin!

stayed here for my daughters wedding at the brown family homestead... it is less than 2miles from the venue!! The place is absolutely beautiful, there are personal touches everywhere and you feel like you are staying at a friend's house. My family from out of state LOVED the trees, and the view, thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Natalie Lavering

Owner's reply:

Thank you, Joanne! We are so glad the wedding went well & that your family enjoyed being at the cabin & made great memories.

Great first cabin experience!

For the first stay in a cabin for my husband, six kiddos and me, it definitely exceeded our expectations. The cabin was so clean and comfortable! The weather was exceptionally hot, but there was a beautiful beach about 2 minutes' drive down the road and a shelf full of board games and kids books for a break from the afternoon heat. (FYI, the only beaches with swimming available require a Discovery Pass purchase, which we were not aware of). Owners were amazing to deal with and very patient with all of my questions, as I've never planned a trip like this before. We will definitely be coming back and, maybe brining a few extra family members! I can imagine how fun a winter stay would be!

Natalie Lavering

Owner's reply:

Jennifer - you were fun to work with! I'm so glad you all had wonderful time. I totally spaced letting you know about the Discovery Pass - sorry! For the longest time that beach was free, so we're still getting used to having that Pass ourselves! And we would love to have you come back ... you guys would have a lot of fun sledding on the hills around the cabin during the winter!

Not only is this beautiful cabin in the woods everything you can hope for, your just a walk away from LK Wenatchee and Leavenworth is about a 20 minute drive and well worth it. I would also say that the owners are awesome and so wonderful to work with! We can't wait to come back! Thank you Natalie, for everything. You truly went above & beyond for us! Blessings to you and your family!

Excellent Chalet

This was a gem find. Great cabin in the woods near the lake and 15 minutes from Leavenworth. It was a little hard finding as the numbers on the driveways were deceiving. The cabin was perfect for my friend who flew in from Fairbanks, AK, and me from San Diego, CA. Romantic, cozy, perfect - the place was so big but we only used the main floor area. Nice having a BBQ out the downstairs door, only thing missing was steak knives. My Alaska friend is still raving about how wonderful and magical this cabin was. He even found 4 leaf and five leaf clovers in a clover patch right next to the firepit. Magic indeed. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin.

Natalie Lavering

Owner's reply:

Thanks for the great review, Shaun. We are happy you enjoyed The Pine Chalet; we'll be sure to get more steak knives up there soon!

We Spent Time Skiing At Stevens Pass, Drove Into Leavenworth And Enjoyed Ourselves Relaxing At The Chalet. Its Close Proximity To The Lake Would Also Make It A Good Summer Getaway!!

Pine Chalet

Our family spent a delightful early Christmas weekend at the Pine Chalet at Lake Wenatchee - snow arrived 5 days before our visit and was icing on the cake. The end of the road location was an ideal spot for the little ones (and adults too) sledding using gear at the cabin. Sleeping and bathroom spaces were adequate fir all, including for two of our kids' families with babies. Kitchen was tight, but nice big dining table and extra bar space made up for that - table fit all 12 of us! Kitchen lacked some what we consider basics (coffee grinder, blender), but I had vetted things out with the owner who was gracious in replying to my emails. We enjoyed a winter outside fire in the fire pit - quite magical in the snowy environment! Inside gas fireplace made for a cozy feel in the great room. Christmas tree and other holiday touches were very welcoming. Proximity to Plain and Leavenworth was great. Drawbacks - mainly to the guys - no wifi or satellite/cable TV. We all headed home earlier than we would have wanted to to make the Seahawks game, we brought an assortment of DVDs and probably didn't use them all. All in all, a very family-environment!

Natalie Lavering

Owner's reply:

So glad your family had a wonderful time, Karen!

Octoberfest 2013

The cabin is located in a remote area, which is great if you are bringing a group of people. The Cabin it self is very beautiful with plenty of space for a large party of people. The owner is great to deal with and everything went great. I would recommend this cabin to anyone else who has interest staying close to Leavenworth, but not right in town.

Natalie Lavering

Owner's reply:

Thanks, John! Glad you had a great time.

Great Weekend!

The Pine Chalet is an awesome cabin. Extremely well kept and staged. The owners were a pleasure to work with throughout the process! I recommend this property to anyone looking to get away for a weekend.

The pine chalet was beautiful. We gathered a group of friends and headed over the mountains for Leavenworth's Oktoberfest! The cabin was a short 25 minute drive to the festival and a gorgeous place to stay! It had everything we needed to cook and pick up after ourselves, the only thing that could be better was if we had more time to stay!!! You can't beat the $155 you can't go wrong....the small fees seem to add up quick though.

Pine Chalet

The house it self was awesome. There were lots of beds, big kitchen and living room. The couches in the living room were comfortable and I loved the large table, which was perfect to play some card games! My issues with the place were that we booked a place with a hot tub so we could relax at the end of the day in it, but no where in the ad did it say that it was a 2 person "soft tub" which could barely fit anyone in it. That was a HUGE disappointment. Also, the fireplace in the living room didn't work. Im not sure what the issue was with it, but we couldn't get it to go on.

Winter Wonderland

We booked this cabin to host friends and family for my brother's wedding in nearby Leavenworth. The guests came from California, Arizona and even Sweden...and all were impressed with the cabin as well as the setting. This was during a major snow event and all roads were well plowed, even the driveway down to the house. We have no hesitations recommending this cabin to prospective guests.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It has been well designed for both relaxation and fun. The kids had SO much fun in the giant rumpus room upstairs. Plenty of room to hang out, play games, etc on the main floor and gorgeous views while you're doing so. Beautiful setting. Lots of activities in the area - we had fun hiking, going to the lake, etc. Many great memories were made here! Didn't want to leave!

Wonderful Family Trip

We had a wonderful family Christmas at the Pine Chalet near Leavenworth. The home was cozy, comfortable, and very clean. We had fun sledding, and enjoying the snow. We can't wait to go back year after year! Thank you Comfy Cabin staff and Lathering Family for letting our family stay in your lovely homes!

Where are the sheets?

The house was wonderful. Gorgeous setting! Too bad the silly park svc closed the beach. Not sure why the house didn't have sheets for most of the beds. Otherwise, a wonderful place. (Also the cancellation policy not particularly reasonable.)

Pine Chalet

Three families stayed at the Pine Chalet over the July 25th weekend to attend a wedding at a lodge in nearby Plain, WA. There were seven adults and one 6 month old baby and the cabin met all our expectations to a "T". The cabin was beautiful, clean, quiet and comfortable for all of us. A couple of us avid bird watchers really enjoyed watching the pileated woodpeckers - a great source of intertainment for the down times. We ventured out for a couple seven mile hikes and even did a float trip with 60+ on the Wenatchee River, provided by one of the locals and a great time had by all! Overall, speaking for all that stayed in the cabin it was a great getaway in a beautiful peaceful setting and we all agreed to come back again soon. Two from Tacoma, One from Vero Beach, FL, Three from Minneapolis, MN. and two from Dayton, WA. Thank you! it was great!

Everything about this place was wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of space. We would love to make it an annual trip with family. We can't wait to go back.

Pine Chalet is Fantastic!

This is a beautiful cabin nestled into the woods and was a fantastic getaway. It could easily be a quiet romantic escape for two or just as nice for the whole family. I'd definitely recommend it and will most likely be back.
