"Sheckler's On The Lake" is one of Spokane's premier vacation rental home and offers a great upgraded home that has a private boat dock, sits on a sandy beach, sleeps 14 comfortably in beds or futons and rents for $3,500/week.

"Shecklers Beachside Bungalow On The Lake", another primary waterfront property, rents for for $2,500/week and will accommodate 12-14 overnight guests.

"SHECKLER's ON THE LAKE" offers you a newer home that was completely redone in 2006. Our 2,000 sq ft includes 3 bedrooms (2 of which are private master suites), 3 bathrooms, two living rooms, a nice kitchen, 3 decks, and a laundry room.

Along with that, we have a guest home that sleeps 4. All of this sits on your own private beach which offers 80 FEET OF PRIMARY WATERFRONT, a SANDY BEACH FRONT AND A PRIVATE DOCK!! Our home is situated within the trees and is "on the right side of the lake" offering incredible sunset views. Both neighbors are far enough away for complete privacy. The gourmet kitchen includes: stainless steel appliances, engineered counter tops and is complete with a flat screen TV. Come to Diamond Lake and experience PARADISE-you will never want to leave!

"SHECKLERS BEACHSIDE BUNGALOW" (which is a different property across the lake) offers you 4 sleeping areas, PRIVACY, and sleeps 12-14 total. Come, stay in our "Beachside Bungalow" (A private bungalow that sits on the waters edge. We have 3 rooms, 2 full bathrooms and a bungalow for great privacy and sits on 50 feet of PRIMARY WATERFRONT.

PRIVATE BOAT DOCKS ON BOTH PROPERTIES---Bring your boat!
Swimming right off the dock-Great water temperatures all summer long with gorgeous sun exposure on the dock and the most beautiful sunsets you have ever seen in the evening.

THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY and we do not rent to groups under the age of 25 or vacationing college students.

Area Description

BOATING: WATERSKIING AND JET SKIING IS ALLOWED ON OUR LAKE!
The Diamond Lake public boat launch is just about 1200 feet down the road and within walking distance. Across from it is the South Shore Store. Amenities include a full restaurant-- open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Come in for your morning coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friday and Saturday nights offer karaoke and a pool table. There is also another bar across the street that has live bands sometimes and an outdoor beer garden. The town of Newport, WA is 8 miles north which offers a Safeway and Oldtown, ID is across the street from Safeway for your fishing licenses.

Lodging Tax: 9.6% WA Lodging Tax
Deposits: NON-SMOKING PROPERTY. WE DO NOT RENT TO VACATIONING COLLEGE STUDENTS OR GROUPS IN WHICH THE MAJORITY OF THE RENTERS ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 25. **April weekend for 2: $400**(2-4 people-includes cleaning & tax) Paypal (Credit cards) is now offered for your convenience. 50% of total rental rate is required to hold your dates, due within 7 days Balance is due 60 days before check in date $1,000 deposit is due 2 weeks before check in
Other Fees: Please add 9.6% WA sales and lodging tax. $1,000 refundable damage deposit due 14 days before check in. Cleaning fees: $100 main house, $25 for each cabin to be added to each weekly rental; $75 weekend for 2 people(2 nts) Pets may be allowed with a $100 non-refundable carpet cleaning fee and a $250 refundable deposit (pets allowed at owners discretion).

"We were there in September. The house is very tastefully decorated and many upgrades in kithcen area. Great for entertaining.The sunsets are beautiful, and can be seen from the deck off the kitchen a living area. Then on the next level, the guest area and master bedroom area, the view is also the last thing you see before you retire and the first thing you see upon rising. The mornings are peaceful. I chose to gab a few minutes with my coffee on the deck in silence except for the birds who woke up before I did. As the day picked up, the neighbors travel by in their boats waving salutations as if we lived there. What great fun! Our friends brought their boat ans jet skis and putt them in at the nearby public launching area. It was perfect for all who came. We would rent this for our next water adventure vacation."

"We stayed here last June and fell in love with it! The view is AMAZING! It was very easy to find from the Spokane airport. We stocked up on a few essentials at a grocery store before we got there but found a little store/restaurant within walking distance! (great if you don't feel like cooking too) We didn't get back in the car until it was time to leave. The inside of the house was very clean and well maintained...looks brand new! We sat out front in the morning sun with our coffee and were greeted by people walking by, then moved to the back in the afternoon. This place is very relaxing! Make sure you check the weather if you are coming from a warm climate like Texas. Take a light jacket or sweatshirt for the evenings. It was a nice break from the Texas heat in June! Met some wonderful people and will definitely go again! Well worth the trip!"

"Living in the New York City 11 months of the year makes you miss the sunsets. My wife, kids and I rented the place for 1 whole month and we wanted to stay. June is is a perfect time to be by the lake enjoying the days by the water. Lazy days by the water were breathtaking and the nights watching the sunset just too beautiful. This year time is limited to only 1 week there so 30 days of fun will have to get crammed into 7. The area is very beautiful and the place kept up very well. I would recomended the place to 2 co workers and they also have trips planned there this summer. Mark me down for June of 09. "

"Pure HEAVEN is the best way to explain this place! It just does not get better than this! From enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck in the morning to watch an incredible sunrise; to sitting on the dock in the evening to watch an amazing sunset. Absolutely gorgeous!
It is a great place to entertain or just enjoy with your family. The home is PERFECT for both!
Plenty of action on the lake…everything from water skiing, jet skiing, fishing to sitting on the dock or floating in the water to soak up some sunshine. You are within walking distance to many amenities…convenient store, bars and a restaurant. The public boat launch is also within walking distance.

"We used to think that Lake Tahoe was Heaven on Earth. That was before we were introduced to this awesome cabin on Diamond Lake. We have stayed here both summer and winter for the past two years. Whether it’s sitting on the dock watching the gorgeous sunsets on the hot summer nights or gazing across the frozen lake from the Great Room in January, this is absolutely the most peaceful, re-energizing retreat that we have ever found. The furnishings are very nice. There is ample room for family and friends and with the multiple levels, everyone has their privacy. The convenience store and restaurant are just a short walk away and the people are very friendly. Looking forward to our next visit!"
