RELAXATION TO THE MAX!

This is the 3rd year my family has rented Icicle Haus. The updated kitchen, spacious gathering room, roaring fireplace, wonderful hot tub, and access to the grill made this a low key and highly relaxing get-away. The wineries and micro-brews are flowing in town which hosts many cute shops. Highly enjoyable and the home is exceptionally maintained and handeled. Enjoyed the call by the owner inquiring if we needed anything....that's service!

Lovely stay in Leavenworth

We had a group of 6 people at the Icicle Haus. It's a beautiful home, but probably suited best for two couples or a family - one bedroom is very small. We enjoyed our time playing games by the fire, relaxing in the hot tub, and cooking on the grill. It's a short trip to town and right on the river. We will definitely consider staying at the Icicle Haus again the next time we plan a get-away!

Actually, many of our frequently returning guests are multiple couples, generally two or three, while others are a less easily defined composite of friends and/or family. We are just happy that nearly everyone connects with Icicle Haus, and we thank all of you for being such great guests.

Oh and as I write, we are having a new kitchen put in. An update was needed, albeit I suspect we will miss the old one that served us so well over these 10 years of ownership.

Best Birthday Ever!

The Icicle Haus was perfect for an Oktoberfest birthday weekend! It's in a stellar location where the shuttle picks you up at the driveway! There are neighbors but they are located at a distance that is private yet you don't have to worry about being in the middle of nowhere. The cabin is clean and big, the pictures don't do it justice! We are already planning our trip back, thanks so much for having us!

This was a great place to stay during Oktoberfest. Close to town, right on the shuttle line. Very cute decor and large living spaces. Hot tub and fireplace were nice touches as well :)

Our family of 9 enjoyed a surprise 65 birthday reunion in honor of my wife. We picked the Icicle Haus and Bunk Haus and really enjoyed our stay for two nights. It has a long list of amenities and is very spacious. It is less than a mile to Leavenworth and is a nice walk. We enjoyed the fresh dry air and the smell of the pines along the river. Our two grandsons really enjoyed the hot tub! We would come back to stay here.

excellent, relaxing trip. We floated the river several times and really enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the river. House is very well stocked and feels like a home and not a rental. Nicely decorated, newer bbq and spa, furniture and bedding high quality. Owners are very nice to deal with and made sure are stay was going well. Plan to return to Leavenworth in the future and we would definitely look to stay in this house.

This comfortable and respectfully restored home was used for a ladies theatre get-away weekend. With six of us, the four bedrooms, and the private study came in very handy for separate sleeping arrangements, and the sofa bed in the living room was super comfy for the sixth area. The kitchen is beautiful and impressively appointed with dishes and glassware (we didn't do any cooking); the front room was so accommodating for gathering, visiting and planning our fun. The convenient location was super for those of us who wanted to walk along the river and/or into town. We thoroughly enjoyed the care in which the home was appointed and maintained. A word to the wise: take your own hairdryer and bath soap. We would like to return again, and look forward to Leavenworth's completion of its massive street-replacement project which included a number of road closures and plenty-o-dust. Highly recommend this wonderful home.

We do have a hairdryer, albeit we sometimes find it tucked away in funny places. Suppose we should acquire a second--thanks for noting. And housekeeping is supposed to put out both bars of soap and liquid soap and shampoo. Will note remind housekeeping, who can get a little frantic during the busy summer season.

The house was perfect! There was plenty of room, the kitchen was nicely equipped and loved being able to see the river from the outside deck. It was close to town and on the road to hiking trails. We had a fabulous time and even saw a mother bear and two cubs just across the river from the house. Would definitely stay here again.

This home is the perfect Leavenworth getaway. We were in town for a family wedding and the house is spacious, lodgelike, with all the ammenities. The big stone fireplace, and floor to ceiling cathedral windows were perfect for watching it snow, and snow , and snow. (With a great outdoor light to watch it snow at night also). Wood and kindling ready to go, to start a nice warm fire. Icicle Haus is very centrally located for all the city activities Leavenworth has to offer as well as sitting very nearby the Wenatchee River, with a view out of the Master bedroom of the river itself and the bridge. The master bedroom, by the way, is a haven in itself. The kitchen is charming and the decor is amazing throughout the entire home. Antiques, Native American and Western artifacts, as well as a very nifty wine cork screw collection above the stove in the very well equipted kitchen. The appliances are all very modern, and we especially appriciated the double headed shower in the Master Bath as well as the outdoor covered hot tub that my husband could not wait to get into when the outdoor temp was 17 degrees... The covered car port was also very much appriciated as it kept the snow from piling up on our car. The drive way was plowed daily for easy acsess. I could have stayed here for a very long time. Just a truly wonderful experience. Peaceful, relaxing, and fabulous. We can hardly wait to return. Thank you for a terrific weekend.... Can we just keep it a secret? Sherri Lord-Smith Enumclaw Wa.

Lovely wood cabin with nice appointments. Well stocked kitchen which was nice for us since we love to cook. Conveniently located 5 minutes from cross country ski trails and 45 minutes from Mission Ridge, the best ski area in Washington in our opinion!

Family Christmas

Spent 3 nights over Christmas here with our two teen boys. Large, comfy house that had all we needed for a great family holiday. Especially enjoyed looking at the home's eclectic decor....made it feel like my grandma's cabin in northern Wisconsin. The dog friendliness was a big plus too....our old black Labs gave it a big tail wagging approval.
