We had a very nice stay at a large, very nice 3/4 bedroom rambler home. The bedrooms werre well laid out and well appointed. The main bathroom was large and accommodated the 2 bedrooms in the front. The 2nd bathroom was smaller, but served the back bedroom OK. The living area was large and warm with the fireplace burning. We had a fun time playing games there. The kitchen was qute large, but all the utensils and pots and pans were not very orgainized and hard to find. The hottub was very comfortable. I would say that the view from the dining window during breakfast was breath taking.

Great house

Our two families (total of 7 people) fit perfectly in this house. It is fully equipped (except for wood beyond the first night). The hot tub and wood stove were much-used and appreciated after being out snowshoeing and skiing. The town of Leavenworth was crowded as it was New Years weekend, but we prepared excellent meals in the roomy kitchen instead of trying to cram into restaurants. We liked the proximity to town (about 40 min walk or quick drive) and the X-C ski trails (10 min drive). The house is convenient to the Safeway as well (5 min drive). The view is spectacular!!

Great House for a large family!
November 27, 2012
My family visited for my girlfriends birthday and a Thanksgiving getaway. Our clan is 8 adults [4 couples] and 2 children under 3. The house was PERFECT. All the rooms accommodated the couples and our needs. None of the rooms were too small and the bathrooms were easily shared amongst all of us. The kitchen was huge and all of us could move around in it easily to grab food when it was ready. The living room accommodated our whole group - we moved one of the sofas from the family room/extended kitchen to the living room so we could talk, play games and watch movies. A few of my favorite things at this property were the fireplace, the hot tub and the view! The hot tub was a real hit with the 2 1/2 year old. There is this really awesome meadow behind the house and when we pulled up the first night we saw a family of deer a few feet from the back door. You can also see the river and the lights from the town and of course the mountains! It was easy to find, easy to park in with all our cars and very warm and cozy. I would definitely recommend this property and in fact, if we ever decided to stay in Leavenworth again we would definitely stay here!

We spent the first weekend in August 2012 here. It was a summer get-together for a group of friends. The lawn was huge and afforded us the ability to play several lawn games in the sun. The firepit and hot tub were well-received, and the interior lent itself nicely to card games. It was quick and easy to get to downtown. Of course, the area and town are fabulous. This villa is a great jumping off point for all of the activities in the area. Highly recommended!

The neighbor next door recommended adding a siting area at the edge of our yard for our guests to enjoy the greater view of the mountains while drinking coffee or bird watching, and we did!!

Perfect house for the occassion!
August 7, 2012
I booked this house as a place to gather for a surprise birthday party for my girlfriend. We arrived first and one-by-one, the surprise attendees showed up. She loved it! The house was the perfect size for the 10 of us. We utilized all the amenities, including the hot tub, fire pit and BBQ. We spent the first night out on the town, and took advantage of the taxi/shuttle service so we could all ride together and nobody had to be designated DD. When we got home from town, we soaked in the hot tub, danced in the living room and had a great time. On the second night, we took advantage of the house itself, stayed in all day long, barbequed for lunch and had a taco bar for dinner. Again, used the hot tub, and made smores at the fire pit. Such a successful trip, we really hope to stay again! :)

The place is very cosy and well maintained. Be aware that it has 3 full bedrooms and one bedroom with a single bed (adjacent to a kitchen), so plan accordingly. Living room space is very big and has more sleeping places though. The view on the mounains is terrific!

This is a spacious home with ample space to spread out....we had 8 ladies and plenty of space for sleeping, lounging, and socializing. There is also a great hot tub on the property. It has a convenient turn around drive way, allowing for everyone to park their cars on the property. It is a 30 minute walk from downtown and 15 minutes to the Safeway. The view is incredible, as you view the mountain range. The owners were very easy to work with and prompt in replying to emails and phone calls. Another great feature was the water heater - we had two showers going, the dishwasher, and the washing machine with plenty of hot water for all! Feel confident in booking this home.

Perfect Accommodations!

We had a fantastic vacation during our weekend stay in Leavenworth. The rental house was perfect for all of us! Cozy, delightful, and super close to town. Everyone had a great time! The cost was very reasonable and housed all of us quite adequately. Everything we needed was provided at the house (dishes, towels, blankets, pillows, wood for the fire pit and indoor fire place, soap... pretty much everything one would need to live comfortably). The only things we needed to provide for ourselves were clothes and food/drink. The property owner was incredibly nice and made organizing this event for us super easy. Not to mention that when our trip was over I provided the owner a small list of minor damages that were existing before we showed up. She was so grateful that we took the time to do this and informed me her husband would be making those fixes the same day we left! That impressed me, along with the fact that she didn't charge me for the two wine glasses accidently broke during our stay. Since we were so honest about everything, she told me not to worry about replacing the glasses... she just hoped that good wine was in them before they perished! Overall, a fantastic first time rental experience! I HIGHLY recommend staying at this home!

This house has the best view I had ever seen, either you love the sunset or the sunrise just seeing it fall or rise from the mountain is a stress relieving site. House is furnished to accommodate everything you can think of without having to bring your own supplies. To bad this doesn't go up to 10 stars I would definitely have rated it higher. I recommend everyone to at least stay here once and you will not regret it. We had well over 14 people and had a great time, and it wasn't crowded because everyone is usually outside. The hot tub was also a great feature, we used that as much as we could. Thank you Sherry!

Leavenworth Family Vacation

The Beautiful Mountain View Home was perfect for our family vacation. It was exactly as described in the Vacation Rental Internet ad. The home was very nicely decorated, had a beautiful view and was clean and well stocked with towels, paper products, garden furniture, games, b ooks, etc. The kitchen is especially nice with large windows to the view side of the property, iswell stocked with kitchen utencils, plates, pot and pans and every kind of electronic equipment needed (coffee pot, large microwave, toaster, blender, etc. ] We had fun visiting the town, the fish hatchery, the children's petting zoo. Thanks for all you did to make it a very memorial vacation.

This lovely little rambler is charmingly decorated, clean, and has a beautiful back yard. The view of the mountains is breathtaking. We had 12 people and never felt too crowded. We plan on using this home again.

We traveled from Bellingham, WA with our daughter (3 1/2 mo) and met my wife's family from Bellevue, WA here. Our stay was from the 14th to 17th and there was snow everyday! We watched the lighting ceremony twice, had Danish pastries and hot cider, went to the craft fair at the Grange, relaxed in the hot tub every night and played cards together. Thank you again for a wonderful stay once again we were pleased with our stay for the 2nd year. The hot tub was essential after long days of cross-country skiing.
