Description of the Leesburg vacation home rental

Availability:
NOW AVAILABLE: as of June1, 2013
Annual Rental Price: $1,100 per month plus utilities (no tax on rentals of 6 months or more)
Monthly Rental Price: $1,200 per month (April-December); utilities included
Monthly Rental Price: $2,100 per month (Jan/Feb or March 2014); utilities included
Florida requires an 11% tax on rentals (in addition to above listed rent)
There is an $85 cleaning charge at the end of the rental if a pet is at the rental site.

If you are visiting the Orlando area, consider staying at the fabulous Plantation in Leesburg (about 39 miles from Disney). Our home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with an attached garage, fully furnished with appliances and small appliances also. It has an outdoor barbecue grill, HD satellite DISH television and a fully equipped kitchen. This home is one of the cleanest you will ever see. All you need is your clothing and food. There are lots of restraunts within a short drive along with Publix, Winn Dixie, banks and gas stations. It is right off the Florida Turnpike and easy to get to. It is preferred (but not required) that at least one renter is at least 50 years of age or older. Pets are welcome.

Area Information

This home is located in the Plantation, a community for seniors (55 years of age or older). The Plantation has three heated pools, eight bocce courts, eight tennis courts, pickleball courts, horshoes, softball, volleyball and over 100 club activities monthly. There are two/18 hole golf courses, a driving range and a putting green, There is a restaurant on the Plantation campus and a pro shop. This house is located in the village of Magnolia Point in the Plantation. It is a safe place to live.

Our stay at the Plantations was better than expected. Joe and Patty are wonderful hosts, truly caring about our needs and ready to assist whenever possible. The Plantations community is wonderful. Community centres, pools and ammenities where beyond our expectations. Our rental home was awesome, so we have already booked for next year. The Pantations could not be better located in the center of Florida. An easy drive to anywhere we wished to go. Plus a fabulous selection of golf courses within easy reach.

Owner's reply:

The Mainellys were wonderful people who fit right into the Plantation. They loved golf and enjoyed every day of sunshine as well as the company of their friends in a spacious house. We are really looking forward to their return next year. We even put in a new laminate floor for them!

We found staying in the rental house very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The location is in close proximity to the amenities of the Plantation, pool, golf, clubhouses and restaurant. There are miles of bike and walking paths throughout the complex.We enjoyed playing golf on the tow courses and also on near by courses. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. The owners provided great service, tending to anything that may arise but stressed that it was our home to enjoy during the stay. Bill and Janie Endress
