You can visit the famous Castle of Santa Maura, right next to the channel built by John Orsini in 1300.You follow the eastern coast road passing through the villages of Ligia,Nikiana, and Nidri-this is one of the most popular holiday spots on the island.
Next stop Vassiliki, Agios Nikita-picturesque fishing villages. Stop also in Karia, known for its traditional embroidery
From Nidri you can take a short ferry boat ride to Megenassi, Sparti,Maduro and Scorpios.
