Enjoy a relaxing vacation this summer or early fall on the waterfront of one of New Hampshire's most peaceful and crystal clear ponds. Long Pond in Lempster NH is a mountain-top glacier pond that is 120 acres of wildlife and scenic beauty where loons nest and raise their young in early spring and entertain us with their lively frolicking and spectacular loon songs until late fall. The pond is perfect for a variety of recreational activities including swimming, canoing, kayaking, fishing and nature watching. Long Pond does permit motorized boats, but most folks like to use non-motorized watercraft to get around. Water skiing is permitted from 1:00 – 3:00 PM daily – a time when the loons are usually keeping cool in set-backs and shade of the water's edge trees.

Spend your vacation here at our cottage, swimming from the large deep water dock, canoing or kayaking ~ we provide 1 canoe and 2 kayaks with the rental ~ fishing or just kicking back on the deck relaxing while your dinner cooks on the grill. The pond is centrally located between the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee and Monadnock Regions ~ just a short trip to many four-season activities to please folks of every age and varied interest.
