Come and enjoy the great magic of the Alone Mill !! Bike, Canoe, Hike or simply hang around the creek .
The beautiful unit is located at just 15 minutes short distance from the Lexington , home to the Washington, Virginia and Lee University , Virginia’s Horse center & Military Institute . The Rockbridge County , VA is also home to Maury River, only a single river in VA which brings and ends in same country . Summers, Springs & Fall all are great periods for running whitewater in the Goshen Pass else tubing on flat water in to the Lexington .Experience the great fun in the country where our guests can simply stay late , dazzle by stars & milky ways .
In late falls and winters , enjoy the cozy cabin & games of pool . During June & July after dark , you will surely love the lightning bug that displays every night .
Later during summers & fall , tree frogs & cicadas adds charm to sizzling nights by singing songs . Cabin sits at famous (& challenging ) bike route .
School House , located with in 300 yards to river access which is known as the Alone Mill .The Upstream is our favorite stretch of canoe at Maury, it is a peaceful five hour ride at slow water & can be fast as just 2 hours .
