Area Description

Kauai, the "Garden Isle", is the oldest and fourth largest of the main Hawaiian Islands. ,
The highest point is Mount Waialeale, at the center of the island, 5,148 feet (1,570 meters) above sea level. The wettest spot on Earth, with average rainfall of 460 inches a year, is just east of Mount Waialeale. The high yearly rainfall has eroded deep valleys in the central mountain. It has made canyons with many scenic waterfalls.

The city of Lihue is the main city on the island. Waimea, on the island's southwest side and once the capital of Kauai, was the first place visited by explorer Captain James Cook in 1778. The city is at the head of one of the most beautiful canyons in the world, Waimea Canyon, whose gorge is 3,000 feet (9,144 meters) deep.

Kauai presents you the most diverse climates in all of the world. Visit the dry hot desert conditions of Waimea Canyon and yet 20 minutes away you can be hit with a tropical storm and be in the wettest place on Earth. Or take a canoe and swim to the 100ft waterfall

We are 20 minutes to Poipu and 30 minutes to Princeville. You have all watersport activities located within 7 minutes in Kappa or you can travel to other parts of the island. We are 10 minutes from a canoe ride up the Fern Gratto where you can swim to the 100ft waterfalls.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your condo. We loved the bed. It was so comfortable and the sheets were so soft. The bathroom was immaculate and so clean. The custom soaps and body wash was an added plus. We loved it so much we slept with the balcony door open and we listened to the water each night. The pools were awesome and we had coffee each day in the little coffee shop downstairs. We are coming back in 6 months and we will definitely recommend this place to our family and friends. Hotel luxury at a bargain price.....
