Our family rented this amazing vacation rental over Thanksgiving weekend. There was a total of 4 adults 2 children & 1 infant. The home is truly a block from the beach yet still back far enough from all the commotion and noise from HWY 101. The home was perfect for our little getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with all equipment needed to still cook our Thanksgiving meal. The children room was stocked with kites, puzzles, games and movies. We enjoyed the trip so much, we are thinking about making this a new family tradition and we would be happy to rent this home again!

Just the perfect setting to a wonderful vacation. We celebrated my daughter's 16th birthday here and after not seeing her in 15 years this will be a memory that is never forgotten. She flew over from Germany and said she will always remember the house and asked to come back next year. We had fun in the canoe,fishing off the deck,bbqing,playing games, and the comfortable surrounding to relax at night and take in a movie. The house was perfect for the 5 of us and we will be back no questions. Everything went smooth from getting the key code on time to everything promissed being true. Thank you so much for making a reunion between a father and his daughter that much more special.

This house is a very charming home with nice decor! It also has a canoe and is located on the river - alot of fun! The only drawbacks would be: only 1 bathroom and hotel across the river is kind of "run down"...so view isn't the best.

My family and I were thrilled with the house. We spent five nights there and should have stayed for more. It was great having access to the beach that was walking distance from our location. Another great touch was that the home was equipped with everything including things I would have never thought to bring like kites for flying and the iron with ironing board in the closet. I loved the simplicity of the entire trip. The owners were very kind and easy to work with. I can't wait to go back to the Lakefront Chalet and when we do go back it will be for a much longer stay. Thanks for such a wonderful and relaxing time!

Perfect is an understatement to our weekend stay at the Lakefront Chalet. From the furnishings, to the nic nacs, the house was beautiful in every way. A definite home away from home. We used the canoe, and paddled down the canal full of bloomed flowers and lilly pads. Very peaceful and relaxing. The weather was gorgeous, perfect for laying on the beach, and kite flying! It was a flawless weekend, we didn't want to leave. The owners were extremely nice and friendly to work with. Kim responded quickly and made smooth transactions. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Thank you!
