We had a great time during our stay in Lincoln City. Our Beacon Heights condo was excellent. We had an awesome view with all of the amenities of home. It didn't really feel as if we were in a rental. We would definitely go back and stay again!

We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved the condo. From walking in and seeing a panoramic view of the ocean, to seeing how nicely they decorated the condo and supplied everything we might need in the kitchen. There was a tv in each bedroom as well as the living area. The river rock fireplace provided a lot of ambiance as well. Our evening was spent enjoying the hot tub on the deck as we watched the sunset. We would definitely stay again.

We were there for (NEW BIRTH) there was a moma bird nesting nest to our hot tub and WOW! We didin't see her till the morning we were leaving and we were honered to see her BABIES as she left her nest..It was Awsome!!!! My Husband and myself had a much needed get away, and we loved our room!!!. Was so beautiful as I love the beach and my Husband as well. We celabrated 34 years! We would love to come again and we want to THANK-YOU for the beautiful home away from home. We call this weekend (NEW BIRTH ) We had a wanderfuil time !!!!!

Beautiful condo on the beach. Excellent accommodations for a relaxing home away from home. Loved sitting on the balcony watching the ocean at all times during the day. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. We will be back again!

Captain's Wheel was Awesome

We spent 3 nights at Pacific Winds in The Captain's Wheel, and it was spectacular. The unit appears new, was tastefully decorated with a 3rd floor balcony opening directly onto the beach, and with a hot tub on the balcony. We watched whales and sea lions from the balcony! The unit has a beautifully equipped gourmet kitchen. The unit did not have any beach towels, beach toys, or beach chairs. Also, it should be noted that the building sits atop a cliff, and beach access involved a short walk down the street to public beach access steps. The unit was perfect for our family, 2 children ages 2 and 5 and a visiting family member who is 19 plus my wife and myself. We used the pool in the building several times and it was warm and clean. The building is about a mile from a very nice Safeway grocery store as well as from the casino. It's just a few blocks away from hwy 101 with shops and restaurants. We had a great time and not only highly recommend this unit and building, we intend to return ourselves.

My entire party was impressed by this beach front property accept for the fact we had a preference for a direct stair path to the shore below. We had to walk some distance before reaching the beach. Also, the barbecue on the deck had baked on food residue and hadn't been properly cleaned, so we were unable to enjoy a seasonal barbecue. We will consider reserving this property again in the near future however.

This condo is beautiful and comfortable! The view is amazing! The only slight difficulty was beach access (up the road and down many stairs). It was not prohibitive, but our little one had to be carried. Overall, we loved the condo and intend to return in the future!

We had a wonderful time at horizon View home. Our Son & family met us from Roseburg Or. with our grand baby. We were able to spend her first birthday together. It was a grand 5 days. We did the sand dune's up past Pacific City and enjoyed the Oregon Coast. If there was a downer at all it was the we didn't find a plase right down on the beach. Yet the View from this home was sweet. The weather was questionable, yet still nice.. The home was and average all in all, it had everything we needed.. Thanks The Gouin's

We had a wonderful time. The only item that made it hard was that we pay for 2 full days and can;t check in until 4 and have to check out at 11. For the cost of the unit, it seems only fair to get a full 48 hour stay.

What a wonderful property you have here! The view was amazing. Everything we needed for the weekend was in the condo, which was immaculately kept with a coast motif. The beds were very comfortable, although resting in the love seat in front of the fire was hard to beat, but it was with the hot tub on the deck. There is a little pigeon problem on the deck, but fact that the tub is so secluded and still has a great view made up for that. We loved this place and look forward to coming back soon.

My only criteria for a VRBO was a hot tub with an ocean view. Wonderful view; unfortunately, the hot tub was tepid (102 degrees max) and had an uninviting odor. We never used the hot tub. The other amenities were more than comfortable.

What can I say that isn't said below? The accomodations are top notch. We loved the condo and would definately stay there again. One of the previous reviews states that the walk to the beach was long. I want to clarify, it is only two buildings away in either direction (a minute to walk). And the accomodations, view, privacy of the unit and the decor more than make up for any inconvenience. Weather was horrible (50+ mph wind, hail, and even some snow), but that didn't stop us from beachcombing from Lincoln City to Florance with spectacular success. I guess what they say about storms improving beachcombing is true!

This property had so many of the little touches, it was just like home. Since it was storm watching weather, we cooked at the condo and sat in the hottub watching storms in the evenings. My only complaint is the dishwasher had a serious issue on it's ability to be closed. When I called to check on it, the management said all the units had this problem with the dishwasher. Finally, my husband was able to get it to close. We all loved the ocean view and would definitely return again!

The facilities at our condo were great! It was very clean and the furnishings were very comfortable and inviting. Although the coast was a bit foggy and cold, we enjoyed the wonderful view off of our balcony overlooking the ocean. It was a great place to base out of while exploring the coast.

We recently stayed in the Pacific Heights condos, with absolutely NO complaints. This completed our 4th of July vacation on the Oregon coast with nothing but smiles, extremely close acess to the beach (you can drive right onto the beach here) and the sunsets and sounds of the ocean made this unforgettable to say the least. We were very pleased with the clean and comfortable atmosphere of our condo. The updated furnishings and private hot tub added charm and class, we really felt spoiled. I would definately recommend these rooms to anyone who disires a view with style and luxury!! Five stars in my book, and would do it again! Thanks vacation home rentals!! My husband and I stayed here as one of the stops of our honeymoon on the Oregon Coast. It was by far the nicest place we stayed and it was hard to leave. Lincoln isn't as funky as other towns we visited but it has good shopping, beaches, restaurants and the condo was so nice we didn't explore much anyway. You'll find everything you need and the owners do there best to make you stay enjoyable and comfortable. The view from the hot tub is excellent and the water never gets cold. Two units south of your deck and hot tub can see you while you enjoy the deck but it was never a problem as their blinds were always closed to give you privacy.

Our Stay at the Pacific Winds Condo

The booking process for this stay was less than pleasant as the agent was a bit rude. Also, the amount of rules and disclaimers on the contract made us uncomfortable and we almost decided not to stay here because of it. It said things like "the hot tub may not work and if not you will receive a credit" and "if your unit is not available upon arrival you will be offered another unit or charged a fee for cancelling". Although we were nervous and weren't sure what to expect we signed the contract anyway and decided to go ahead and stay. We are so glad we did. The unit was beautiful. The decor was very nice and the unit was clean and had everything we could possibly need to be comfortable during our stay. The hot tub was great and the location of the condos made our ocean get away super enjoyable. We will stay there again for sure.

We had a wonderful time staying here, the view was amazing, the weather was great. It was nice to be able to sit in the hot tub and just take it all in. the only downside was we thought the walk to the beach would be closer than it was from the pictures and the description.

We really enjoyed our time at Pacific Winds and especially at Beacon Heights. This is our second year at Pacific Winds. We enjoyed being right on the beach with the hot tub as well as having the fireplace and the view during the stormy days. We found the unit to be very clean and nicely decorated which provided the feeling of being in a home-like atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable and the unit provided everything we needed for a very relaxing time. Our goal was to relax and this was a very quiet and restful place to provide just what we needed. We appreciated having such a nice spot available for enjoying a wonderful break from everyday life!

The condo was very nice, clean with a great upgraded kitchen and furniture. The view is spectacular and close (walking distance) from shops and restaurants. our kids loved the swimming pool and recreation room during our stay. We could not have loved it more. We expected the fantastic view and the hot tub, but not the other high points - binoculars complete with whales to look at and extra comfy beds with luxury linens. This unit will not dissapoint.

My family spent 1 week at Lincoln City and had a great time. This condo is wonderfully located to restaurants, shops and the beach. The view off the deck is incredible. You can just sit and watch the waves and not even leave the deck or living room. A wonderful place for a family vacation!

Recently my girlfriend and I stayed in the Ocean Whispers unit for her birthday. While we were excited to be able to get the unit reserved and see pictures, we had no idea just how excited we would be upon our arrival. The pictures do not do it justice. We were speechless when we first arrived. Everything was perfect. The breathtaking view, the kitchen, the fireplace, the luxurious beds. Our favorite part, however, was sitting in the hot tub at night and listening to the waves crash. After we enjoyed a night alone another couple joined us for the second night and they were equally impressed. We all decided that this was something that we needed to do much more often and we all intend on making a return trip to Pacific Winds Condominiums, hopefully for longer than 2 nights. Thank you so much for making this the best birthday present ever.

One of the nicest places we have stayed in Lincoln City. Condo was decorated tasteful and funiture and beds were so comfortable. Cooking was a pleasure in the well equipped kitchen. Beach combing for treasure was terrific right in front of the Condo. The whole family had a great stay and we will be back again.

My family of five stayed here for a week over 4th of July. Our children were ages 6-years, 3-years and 5-months old. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom with our portable crib set-up in the large closet for our infant. Our two older children stayed in the second bedroom. The view of the ocean was completely unobstructed and beautiful. We watched the fireworks from the private hot tub on our balcony (although the big city-sponsored show is a few miles south). It is two block walk down the street and around the corner to the beach because the condo sits high on a cliff. The beach is sandy with tidepools in places. Great for flying kites and making sandcastles. Parking is underground, with an indoor swimming pool on the same level. The ocean was too cold to swim, and the kids always love a heated pool! The unit was beautifully furnished and had all the best amenities: Gourmet kitchen, washer/dryer in the unit, etc. Our only complaint was a rude on-site prop. manager
