The bed is a king Tempur-Pedic. Some guests love it, some find it too firm. One size does not fit all in this case.

This condo has everything and more that you'll need or want for a perfect beach trip. The price is more than reasonable for what you get. The fire place is a really nice added touch. We'll be back as soon as we can fit it in. the beach access is almost like your actually sleeping on the beach. It's great. The views are outstanding yet you can be shielded by the wind. Eating breakfast by the ocean waves was priceless. The pool at the condo was nice and made it nice to be able to have that amenity for something fun to do in addition to beach combing. The owner of the place was more than helpful and was available to answer any of our questions. The beds were very comfortable. Having a full sized oven to cook in was also such a nice amenity. We were able to cook pizzas for lunch to save money on dining out. We'll be back!

I wanted to spend some time with my family (son, pregnant dau-in-law, and 2 grandkids) at my favorite place--the Oregon Coast. My kids got their own room with a king-size bed that included a Temperpedic mattress. It was spacious and comfortable for the 4 of them. I took the front area with the beautiful ocean view. I've never met a hide-a-bed I liked, and this one was no exception. Even with the extra foam padding that was provided, AND my own pad I bring everywhere, I could never get comfortable that first night. . I have back and muscle issues, so I'm not the usual guest. The next 3 nights I just slept on the couch without pulling it out and slept great! The kitchen was well stocked to cook up whatever we needed. Being literally, just steps from the beach, we were all able to enjoy it in our own way: the grandkids getting sand everywhere on their bodies sand could get, and grandma doing what she does best--finding agates. Considering the location and amenities, I felt pricing was very reasonable for this unit and look forward to staying again.

My 85 year old mother, son and I stayed in this condo for the Fall Kite Festival, and it was absolutely perfect! The location is amazing, right on the beach, and when it got chilly and drizzly my mother could sit by the sliding door and watch the kites and ocean while enjoying the warmth of the fireplace. My son loves to cook, and he was excited to see all the pots hanging from the pot rack; this is not like your typical rental where there is one skillet and one pan; this unit truly has everything imaginable for cooking. It is very tastefully decorated, with relaxing shades of ocean blues and sand colors. The owners thought of everything when furnishing this unit; there is even a computer and printer so we could print our boarding passes for our flight home. We're looking forward to going back to Lincoln City, and hopefully will be able to rent this condo again!

Our third trip to the Sea Gypsy and as always had a great time. Beach is right out the front door! This unit is well appointed and clean - the kitchen has everything one could ever need! The decor is pleasing throughout, the Master bedroom is spectacular. Both beds had temperpedic mattresses! The only reason we did not give it a 5 star is the pool could be cleaner . . . still enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

This condo has a Tempur-Pedic king bed in the back bedroom and a queen sofa hide-a-bed with a topper in the front oceanside room. We also rent the condo next door, which does have two Tempur-Pedic beds, and Debbi actually stayed in that one this time.

Booking the place was so easy and convinient. When we got their, I was very pleased. The view was amazing, and had everything we need! Everything was clean and had no complaints at all. It was definitely an amazing stay at the Sea Gypsy. Will for sure come back again soon!

Actually Erica stayed in the condo next door, number 59149, which is linked at the bottom of this unit's web page. She rented only the "A" portion, which has the ocean view/access, a kitchen, bath, and queen Tempur-pedic wall bed. We reduce the rate if the back bedroom is not used.

SPECTACULAR SCENERY & LOTS TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!

The access to the beach is wonderful!!! No need to walk through a lot of sand to be able to look for seashells and walk along the beach. You can walk for hours & only encounter a few people & dogs. Beautiful ocean front with spectacular views of ocean. Also a great area to see Whales, Sea Lions & Seals. Only draw back is that we were hoping for 2 separate bedrooms(without one bed being in living room area); both rooms oceanfront. This was our 3rd time in 3 years staying here & about the only difference was they are now condos instead of regular hotel rooms; which means more expensive. Otherwise, we're looking forward to another trip (or at least I am; husband is more into catching BIG fish)!!!!
Owner's reply:
There are no two-bedroom condos in the Sea Gypsy. A way to get more bedrooms is to rent two adjacent ones. We are 30 feet above sea level, which is as close as you can get to the beach.

my family and I enjoyed our stay very much. the ocean sounds were as close as opening the door. the beach combing was great also as it rained at night and we were able to find some pretty neat beach treasures early the next morning. the people we encountered on the beach were very friendly and made us feel welcome. we also enjoyed the little shops in town to buy trinkets and enjoy the whole beach vacation we have been dreaming about.we would love to come back soon for some more beach combing and to enjoy the weather

The accommodations were fine for a family of four but may be tight for more than that. The back bedroom was very comfortable with a king tempurpedic, however we have little kids (1 and 3) so they slept in the back so we could still enjoy the oceanfront after their bedtime. Needless to say, the pull out was not nearly as comfortable. I love the awesome location- right on the beach, right next to Kylos, and just down the street from the Outlet Mall. The indoor pool/ sauna was a nice bonus too. Would definitely return.
Owner's reply:
There is a 3-inch topper for the queen mattress on the hide-a-bed in the front room. Perhaps our guests missed its description and location in the written notes. Also, typically, children are put in the front (oceanside) area and adults sleep in the back bedroom on the king Tempur-pedic mattress.

The Chef's delight is a wonderful condo just steps from the beach in Lincoln City. We had a great view of the ocean and were able to watch the waves from the warmth and comfort of the condo. The fireplace adds nice ambiance, but the *best* thing about this condo has got to be the kind sized Tempur-Pedic bed. We had a hard time getting up in the morning. We would have been content staying in bed all day watching movies and snuggling. Bob and Kathy gave us a very reasonable rate and even let us check out a little late, which was nice. I will definitely book this condo in the future and recommend it to all of my friends.

This condo unlike many we have stayed at actually has all the comforts of home. There were condiments available for use and a full set of pans. There was even foil and saran wrap in the drawer. Furnished nicely with lots of nice towels. Chairs to use on the beach. The kids loved that they could walk out the glass door and be on the beach. The proximity to the beach made it easy to go out even when raining since we were so close that when the rain started to pour it was no big deal to walk back inside. The owners are a joy to work with.

We very much needed a getaway and also wanted to celebrate a special birthday using a Bay House gift certificate! So, naturally Lincoln City was our destination! I knew it could be risky renting a condo "site unseen" but we were delighted with what we found! The unit was immaculate and the king bed very comfortable. I loved having TWO BATHROOMS!!! Lots of room to spread my stuff out without getting in my husband's way. The TV, etc. was top of the line and kitchen well equipped. The view was amazing, and beach access was literally right outside our door! Since we ate dinners out and had simple breakfast and snacks, I didn't miss a dishwasher, although for a longer stay that would be nice, as would laundry facilities. Overall, we were VERY PLEASED and will look forward to returning to the same unit for weekend visits.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful get-a-way at Lincoln City staying at the Sea Gypsy! The condo was perfect for us! Plenty of room, very comfortable and most importantly to us - RIGHT on the beach!! It was so great to sit in the warm comfy living room with the fireplace on watching and listening to the ocean. We could go outside and soak it all up and then come right back in to get warm. We loved staying here! Thank you to Bob for making this little last minute vacation possible for us! I'm sure you will be hearing from us again soon.

Amazing! Our stay at Sea Gypsy Condo #110 was incredible. The beach was literally steps away from our door, and the view was unbelieveable! The condo was perfect for our family of four. Everything that we needed and hoped for was right at our fingertips. Our rooms were beautifully decorated and restful. We can't wait to return!
