Our condo was great and had a wonderful view! The immediate access to the beach was amazing! The reason for the 4 stars was because of a few calls to the property manager that took a bit to get taken care of. Other than that, our stay was perfect.

Great location, great deal

We visited with our two young daughters. Being right on the beach was fantastic and so convenient. Also helpful was having 2 full bathrooms to accomodate those messy trips to the beach. The beds were not terrifically comfortable, but doable in consideration of how economical our stay was. The pool area needs a good cleaning (tile, steps, bottom), but the water was nice. I would definitely recommend.

we were celebrating our 51st. anniversary at linda's seahawk condo at the sea gypsy. linda had made sure we did not need anything. we had plenty of towels,tp,paper towels,soaps,etc. the location is super great to go to depot bay or newport aquarium or the other way to tillamook for some great cheese and ice creams. linda's condo is so easy to come and go from that makes it a great spot for shopping, in town or the tanger mall. the beach is just outside, the glass door. how super is that? yes you need to lock the door (and stick in, also) but the walk way is close to go around (for me and my cane) and the stairways (3) each have a rail to hang onto. on good days, we would go down to the beach, and on rainy,windy days, we would watch the ocean waves for our comfortable room, or make it a day of shopping. that way no sunny days are wasted in the stores. yes, we had some rainy,windy days, but who caress...WE ARE ON THE BEACH! we had plenty of kitchen pans, utensils, etc that i actually like cooking a couple of days. what a view to look at while you are busy in the kitchen: it is not usually fun to cook, but it was there. my husband and i are so glad to have booked the condo for two weeks. even at that, i am thinking the next time, maybe a month....i suspose if a person had small children, this would be a heavenly place to stay. linda had thought to have games, books, and a vcr available for the guests to use. two nice hd tv's were great. there was a ball and sandpail and shovel in the room for the kiddies to enjoy on the beach. the beach has a few shells, but lots of nice aggauts (sp) and other great rocks. some of our neighbors bbq on the bon-fire they made and had a great time. too late for us..everything went smooth starting with contacting linda about the condo, signing the contract and getting good, easy instructions from her. the condo is in good shape(the bldg/sea gypsy/ is older, but inside the condo is furnished nicely and clean. there are no regrets of any kind with renting the condo or the people associated with it. the price is fair, but i always try to save a buck, so others might think about renting the seahawk also. you will enjoy your stay, i can guarentee it. have fun, folks. i am sure that you will. vincent ant joan anderson

Nice Condo in Dated Building

This is a clean, comfortable, well maintained condo unit in an older building converted from a motel. It is right on the beach (there are stairs down to the beach-no handicapped access). Our only complaint is that there is no way to lock the sliding-glass door on the beach side from the outside, so you have to go out the other side and walk around the building to get to the beach unless you want to leave your room unlocked. Also, this unit is on the ground floor and the sidewalk is directly outside the door, so privacy is an issue unless you keep the curtains pulled. Overall, the weather was great, the condo was comfortable, the price was very reasonable for a beachfront unit. We would definitely go back if we were in Lincoln City again.

PERFECT SPOT!

Thank you for the Seahawk Linda! My wife, almost 3 year old son and I had a wonderful time. The only issue we had was that our stay was too SHORT! Next time we need to book at least a week! Perfect spot for a small family. The beach ball and pails made our son light up right when we walked in the door! We'll be back either in the winter or next summer and have already handed out 3 of your cards. Thanks again for the wonderful and hassle free stay.
