Sea Gypsy condo w/ beachfront access and oceanview
|Per night:||$79 - $129|
|Per week:||$450 - $800|
Large windows in the oceanside suite give you amazing views of the beach. Watch for harbor seals in shallow waves below, and the waterspouts of migrating grey whales on the horizon. We've recently seen orcas (killer whales) in the shallow waves migrating north.
This condo sleeps four and features two separate sleeping areas. The back bedroom features another queen bed, a second full-sized bathroom and television.
We provide a direct Internet connection into our condo for your exclusive use. No bandwidth problems sharing with other guests. Our condo has a sophisticated, keyless entry system so you never have to worry about locking yourself out.
The Sea Gypsy features an indoor heated pool and dry sauna for guests. There is even gas grill on the premises for personal use.
The immediate beach access sets this condo apart from other vacation spots on the Oregon Coast. Your kids can play in the sand as you watch them from your front window. After a full day of building sand castles, wading in the ocean, swimming in the pool, your family will be ready for some cutting edge entertainment at night.
As mentioned above, we have installed Roku that streams Netflix, HuluPlus, HBOGO, Pandora and several other on-demand movie services to your television. Forget the DVD player, you can choose from THOUSANDS of movies and TV shows through our Roku and watch them for free. We provide the Netflix!
But when it's all said and done, most of our guests come for the long sandy beach below, Mother Nature’s greatest attraction. The Sea Gypsy is adjacent to the D River — the shortest river in the world, according to the Guinness Book of the World Records. Take a 10-minute walk north of the Sea Gypsy to some natural tides pools, where you will find a wide range of sea life, including sea urchins, star fish and other surprises.
Chinooks Winds Casino is just 5 minutes away via the free shuttle (provided by the casino on weekends) or a $7 cab ride. It is 2 miles by foot down the beach if you're interested in one of those famous long waks on the beach.
The Sea Gypsy is adjacent to the D River, which comes from the mouth of Devil's Lake just across the highway. Devil's Lake features a multitude of recreational opportunities from jet skiing to fishing and boats rentals. Several public parks ring the lake, and if you're coming to Lincoln City with kids we highly recommend Regatta Grounds Park with its enormous castle playground.

Reviews for this vacation condo rental in Lincoln City, Oregon
my experience at #115

I found this the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. I did not have any worry about sitting on the bedspread as is usual in a motel room. The ocean view was tremendous! We were right there at the end of the D River where everything happens like the kite contest. The room was extremely cute and large and having 2 bathrooms really was a bonus! Loved the murphy bed. The artwork, binoculars, touches,,,,,,, were very relaxing and made for a wonderful stay!

Grandma, my mom and I stayed here two nights for a mini vacation. Everything was thought of, from toiletries to beach bags. The place was very cozy and welcoming. Very clean. The view of the ocean was exceptional. The beach was steps away. Great location, close to shopping and restaurants. We told my other family members about it and will be coming back many times in future.
Can't wait to go back!

Stayed at this condo back in September and as I'm getting ready to book another beach trip, decided it was time I wrote a review about the great time we had staying here. The condo is super homey and very clean. It was cutely decorated and had a little fireplace which was very cozy to have on at night. It is on the second floor but right by the stairwell so it was super convenient, even with lots of luggage. The view of the ocean from the front window was just breathtaking, it really would not be possible to get any closer to the beach than this. I liked the fact that there are a pair of binoculars in the room to look out at the ocean with and try to spot whales, seals and ships. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to make our meals, which was much appreciated. The bathrooms were well stocked with fluffy towels and great smelling soaps, lotions and shampoos. It's little details like that that I just love. I enjoyed the fact that there was an indoor pool and sauna right there on sight as well as a really good restaurant right next door and a great coffee shop within walking distance (even though the condo was stocked with coffee already.) Conveniences like these are awesome. This was a great trip, we're going back in January and can't wait!

We had an amazing time. The only thing we looked for and could not find was a wine opener, but we bought one and left it there (our little contribution). Only thing that was a concern at the beginning was not having any screens on windows, but it was not near the issue we envisioned. We did not need any assistance, but did meet the cleaning lady and she was very nice and willing to help. The view, closeness to beach and all that was amazing. We had a fire on the beach and it was nice to be close for refills. :o) I am sure we will visit again. The only improvement I can think of would be a double chair…. :o) We sat on Bed most of the time, which was fine, but would have used a loveseat or double chair if it was there.

The room was very comfortable, clean and inviting. The view was fantastic next to the river and ocean. A great place to watch a storm. It was nice to have sand pails and etc. provided for children. Since it was really stormy, the indoor pool was great. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again.

About:I have a deep, emotional attachment to Lincoln City in general, and the Sea Gypsy in particular. It was my family’s favorite vacation spot as I was growing up. I spent many weekends building sandcastles in front of the Sea Gypsy as a kid, and chasing girls around the pool as a teenager.
