Description of the Lincoln City vacation home rental

This oceanfront house is in the Taft area of Lincoln City (near Mo's). It overlooks the beach, Siletz Bay, and the rocks in front of Spanish Head. It has a very private oceanfront porch and yard with vacant treed lot next door. The main floor has vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, a floor to ceiling rock gas fireplace, and an open, lodge-like design. The living room has two seating areas (one for watching TV). Two bathrooms are on the main floor. The three bedrooms (two with excellent ocean views and one with a partial view) and a half bath are on the top floor. Technological amenities include Starbucks espresso machine, broadband internet with in-house computer, and Play Station. There is an eat-in kitchen with counter and stools, plus oceanfront dining room. The house is on a cliff. Stairs to beach are 300 feet north.

Here at the outlet of the Siletz River, the Oregon Coast abounds with life. A colony of harbor seals lives within a few hundred yards of the house. Whales are regularly spotted from the living room couch or porch. Seagulls, pelicans, cormorants, and other sea birds drift along the bluff just outside the window. Our ever-changing beach varies from a vast expanse of sand in summer, (often with a fun sand cliff at the high tide line) to fierce storms buffeting the foot of the stairs in winter (that's how all that driftwood got there!)

Besides all that Lincoln City has to offer, you can take a scenic day trip to Newport and the Oregon Coast Aquarium (just 23 miles), or up past Cascade Head to Pacific City or the Capes Route.

Colony of 200+ harbor seals 1/4 mile from house. Whales pass by close to the house, just past the breakers. Tidepools with starfish and anenomes in front of house. Outlet mall 1/2 mile away. In-house computer with high speed internet.

The view was amazing! Layout of the house was wonderful, and complimented with an astounding 2 story gas rock fireplace. Great family gathering place -- you won't be disappointed.

I took my family to stay at one of your duplex condo rentals in July and it was a wonderful experience for all of us and expecially for our daughter who came out to visit from Texas with her husband, who had never seen the ocean. This trip helped him fall in love with Oregon and because of this wonderful view from the rental, they are going to move out here next year. This beautiful location and view helped with our mission in getting them to move out here. The rental was very clean and had everything we needed in it. The beds were all very comfortable also. I have already recommended you to several of our friends. Thank you very much for a wonderful memory.
