This home has a lot of undeveloped property all around it. It is in the center of town, just a couple blocks North of Kyllos Restaurant at the D-River Delta. Being 105 feet above sea level, you are safely ABOVE TSUNAMI WATCH ZONE.
This house looks down and over ocean front.

HUGE 30'x 30' level sand mound on the side yard property, Great for supervised play of young children. visible from the kitchen and upstairs bay window tables, drinking coffee, or from the Adirondack chairs right by it listening to crashing waves and roaring ocean.

1 AMAZING NIGHT AT THE BEACH is unique with vintage cabin and 1997 large addition.

1940 VINTAGE, HISTORICAL cabin is the Living Room and 2 sm bedrooms. Very Neat and Clean, Charming and Cozy.

A huge, level sand mound is available on site for safe/ private "beach play" for youngsters, and it is in view from the hot tub for the parents.

There is a lot of undeveloped land around this house. A doe and yearling come onto the property about 8:00 AM many mornings. They will meander around the yard if no movements or sounds scare them off.

More than amazing, August 25, 2008

Our amazing night at the beach was a full week with loads of fun and relaxation. The house has a gret location and a less than 5 min walk to the beach. We all had a wonderful time walking on the beach, exploring the tide pools, and keeping an eye out for whales. The house is comfortable and cozy with a great kitchen and beautiful ocean views from the main floor and the master bedroom upstairs. I would definitely recommend this accomodation to anyone interested and we were all very happy with the location and all the amenities in the house. All in all a great vacation on the coast.

I can't say enough good things about the Winters and their home. This was a treat! It was welcoming, it was well supplied, it was perfect for a family of 4-5 people. Being the desert dwellers that we are a pacific northwest vacation was a new thing for us. We dug for clams, we cooked fresh fish, we stopped for fresh farm produce and lived like we never have before. After that, we went "home" to a peaceful house that had everything we needed. Not only a roof but games for the kids and band aids for boo-boo's. We slept on a water-tube bed that was out of this world. We were pampered to put it simply. This home has what a family needs. Not just the "things" you need to live daily life...but you can feel the heart in it too. This home has been loved and that makes the experience all that more welcoming. Thank you so much to the Winters for a lovely experience.

Ann inquired of this property but her dates were not available. I decided to approve this review and rebut it. She hasn't returned my calls. This is a 2 story home with one stairwell. Both, at the top and the landing below, have lights that can be turned on or off from both ends. In 6 years, no one has had difficulty accessing this house by code. The only alarms we have are 5 smoke detectors and there is provision for the removal of any salty sea air.

This is a lovely home, be ready to do stairs! Make sure you get all access codes and know how to turn off alarma. Call for service when there is an issue. Be careful at night on the stairs lights need to be turned on upstairs to work. Expect windows to have salt on them.
